There are 2 extra holes by the bridge, which have been professionally filled prior to the refinish. These are not visible when the chrome cover is fitted.

Currently strung with flatwounds.

I need to sell this bass to fund another purchase.

Strongly advise serious bidders to view this exceptional bass. Can be viewed in Northampton, fairly central (J15 of the M1) or possibly Cambridge. I'm not a shop or music store, so please understand this.

Cash on collection preferred, that way it’s a secure and honest transaction for all parties. Any other methods of payment must be discussed first, no exceptions. I’ve included all the important information and pictures, but please ask any questions before bidding.

No tyre-kickers or time wasters, bid to buy, not to try.

If you’re serious though, please come and have a look, have a play, have a beer, or a coffee. I have a ’59 4x10 tweed Bassman you can play it through.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Chris, i think it's going anyway, have a very keen buyer coming over at the weekend, which, if it comes off, paves the way for my next, and probably, final, purchase!
Congrats on the sale. Think thats the most pricey bass I've seen sold on BassChat (although it sounds like it wasn't to a BassChatter). Stunning bass and the new owner is one lucky dude!
Thanks Clarky, no it wasnt to a bass chatter, he is lucky, got it for a great price, as i needed the funds towards my latest purchase, which is now secured, and in transit from the US, should be with me by the end of next week. At which point, all being well, i will be posting details of in the 'gear porn' section.

I'm like a kid who just got his dream bike for christmas!! Just hope it all works out! LOL
