Can only echo what FourOnTheFloor said above, these are absolutely banging pieces of kit. In addition to the points made above, the 4-band EQ is superb and allows you control over the mid range frequencies, same as you get in much pricier preamps, the combination of FET & "tube" works really well and the tilt control is incredibly useful for adjusting to the dynamics of a room. Great price as well.

Yeah the Maruszczyk straps are the mutt's nuts, the PES50 is 5 inches wide and padded, with a suede lining that helps with stability and a ladder connection between the two parts of the strap. I can't really play full scales any more after I shanked my back, but with this wee beastie I'm able to play my jazz again as long as I don't over-do it, same with my P-bass. Only downside is the synthetic "leather" the front of the strap is fitted with (you can score it by _gently_ running a fingernail along the front face. It's sturdy enough but looks kinda bobbins.

Bought a chorus off Ben in a super smooth transaction, great comms and speedy delivery with great packaging. It was a pedal he'd bought at a great price on here that hadn't worked out for him, he could have easily sold it on for far more than he'd paid but he kept it within the basschat community at a cracking price so double thanks for that. Cheers Ben!

Bought a pitch shifter from Matt in a super smooth transaction, great comms, fast delivery in superb packaging and it's a cracking little pedal. Cheers Matt!

Blimey, can't believe I didn't leave feedback months ago, what a dick (me, not Shep lol) Bought Shep's Montreal Assembly PURPLL, the wildest noisemaker I ever did lay hands on which I'm still finding new tricks with after nearly three months. I didn't have the asking price when Shep listed the pedal, and he let me put a deposit down to hold it until payday - only he sent it straight out having only been paid 1/4 of it's value. Enormously grateful for the trust he afforded me in sending it early, and the 125-odd dials on the PURPLL kept me amused and delighted while my broke ass ate beans on toast for a fortnight. Seriously, have a look at the collector//emitter YouTube video on the PURPLL, it's gobsmacking. This must be how people feel when they get their spangly new HX Stomp or whatever, like the other pedals can all go away, there's just the pedal now. Thanks Shep!

Dan has the absolute best taste in dirts, I swear half my board is made up of pedals he's shifted on. Bought an EBS Fuzzmo off him this time around and it's an absolute banger of a fuzzbox, turned up super quickly in great packaging with the usual superb comms. Cheers chief!

Bought an absolutely gorgeous Squier 40th P from Andy, fantastic comms and Andy went above and beyond dealing with my non-driving public-transport-using ass by having one of his boys deliver it to my door! Unbelievable, I'm incredibly grateful and the bass is an absolute banger. Had a nice wee natter with the lad who dropped it off as well, he plays himself and we spent a few minutes marvelling at the job Squier did with these 40th anniversary editions, they proper bottled lightning there. I wish I had boys I could dispatch round the country on my behalf, it seems like a right lark. Might have to look into acquiring some.

Ouch. Assuming the build quality and factory setup was still sub-Classic Vibe level that doesn't seem particularly fair! Anyways, I'm assuming the orange Affinity wasn't a Mike Kerr signature model, so the listing is still trying to blag a comparison between a sub-CV Squier and the by-all-accounts dreadful & hugely overpriced Fender model from '23 that won all the end of year wooden spoon awards.

Lolololololol: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/286628515175 Pasing off an Affinity as a limited edition is bad enough (although I guess they don't do them in orange any more), but trying to pass it off as what is universally acknowledged to be one of the worst signature editions Fender has made yet takes the biscuit. 450 quid for a guitar that cost less than 200 new!

Surprised there's been no mention of the Boss WL-50, they're the best wireless adapter on the market IMO. As well as the usual advantages of freedom of movement and no coil whine/hum, they've got: a lovely chonky wireless adapter that plugs into your axe with a satisfying thunk, holds 8-12 hours charge and has a green-amber-red indicator to let you know how much charge it has left a standard Boss pedal-sized receiver / charging dock that sits nicely at the beginning of your pedal chain, runs on batteries as a backup, has a 9V out socket as well as a 6.35mm input jack just in case, and has three latency settings for emulating different cable lengths (no idea why tho lol). incredibly low latency latency of 2.3ms as standard, I believe even the most finely attuned human ear can't detect latency under 10ms 14 distinct onboard channels so despite only running at 2.4GHz even if there's a fair bit of contention at that frequency you're unlikely to collide with other signals up to 65 feet line of sight The only potential downside is if you like to store the adapter in the charging dock between sets and you keep your pedalboard unplugged, you need to remember to not fully insert the adapter otherwise it thinks it's in use and drains the battery. Boss maybe missed a trick there by not having a footswitch on the charging unit to toggle between charging modes.
