Monophonic sub octave pedal, precursor to the current M288 bass octave deluxe. Tracks quickly and accurately down to open A, bit hit-or-miss any lower than that unfortunately. Like many older subs, if you really want to play at the very bottom of the fretboard it's a lot more stable if you roll the tone down and stick a compressor in front of it.
It isn't true bypass, and there's a small drop in volume when it's chained, even when not engaged. Works fine and dandy other than that. Has a fantastic, full-bodied octave sound.
No box, hard velcro on the back, side socket for the 9v adapter.
