1. Bullet curly lead from bass to amp then it doesn't matter what size the stage is, it's covered. OBBM for EVERYTHING else.
2. For no other reason that I have finally learned how to do this sort of thing
3.
Clarky, it's superb mate! I really the song, the vocals are really well recorded, great mix and recording in general, I love the trippy surf reverb. The snare work is f***ing crisp! And yer man makes my guitar sound wicked Bass is excellent in the way that I hardly noticed it was there, it makes the song sound better without being obtrusive and part of that is in the perfect timing, but when I hear it I really like it, it's a rich, warm texture. I like the spaghetti western kinda vibe too. It's really lovely mate, you should be well proud of this.
What e said, e's elequent, I ain't!
4. A USA Precision for £600, about the same price as many second hand Japanese Precisions/Jazzes (MOST of which have poorer p'ups, imo). As most of us know most of these fellas only get better with age. For goodness sake somebody treat themselves to a possible lifelong workhorse and friend. Karl.
5. Nice one, well done. Keep listening, keep practising, keep bricking it and you will have a greay gig. Enjoy. Karl.
6. 4 hours even quicker than mine.
7. Yup, it's a crying shame they became as rare as rocking horse over here about 3 years ago. About the time they lost/reduced endorsees. I've never used a bad one, but they would certainly sell more if people could get their hands on one in a shop.
8. These basses have a much shallower neck profile than Fenders with similar nut widths, so are a lot easier to play. I can't play a Fender P with a 1.75 inch nut width, but my Glaub, with the same nut width is very easy to play. Cracking basses. GLWTS Karl.
9. Click on the users name, eg greenman555 (Marc). This will open up his profile, You will see three little blocks near the top of that page, the middle one says send message. Click on that to open it. Type in the subject box, then type in your message, then press submit in the box near the bottom. As I said, I will know about the amp later today, Unlike FEEBay, there are a lot more gentlemans agreements on here and sometimes (rarely) a sale does not go through. It is VERY rare for something to be basically sold in the first couple of hours. Welcome to Basschat Dave
10. Hiya davedabass. PM'd means somebody has sent a private message. Pretty much sure it is gone, will know tomorrow afternoon but regretfully even if number one buyer doesn't go ahead, there are two others in the queue before yourself. I will keep people in touch with progress, cheers, Karl.
11. Any better photos, can't see what sort of cosmetic condition it's in, Is there a gig bag of any kind with it? Bump. Cheers, Karl.
12. Friday night, just calmed down Bikers pub, good bank holiday forecast, bikers gone, 35 peeps in. Drummer (main backing vocals) lost voice Lighting rig, refused point blank to work, despite plug, socket, fuse changes. Tiny stage, my elbow against pillar all night, now black and blue. Half inch square lump of paint taken out of my Yamaha by aforementioned pillar D string broke 4th number in Muppet guitarist started Freebird with a D instead of G. And all for fun
13. All pm's replied to in chronological order. Just awaiting confirmation about being on hold. Happy birthday Marc, it's paired with a Barefaced Super 12 V. It sounds really good but I just fancy a change (again ) Not as bad as last year, I'd had 5 between Jan and May last year
14. OK, GAS on basses is gone. Now I fancy a change of amp , cos that's the way it is, Fancy going back to Orange Bass Terror, but also fancying a try of EA I amp 500 or 800. So, my Shuttle 6 up for sale, complete with Genz Benz gig bag and footswitch, or trade for above. Very good condition, couple of little paint scratches. Was professionally serviced in February. Shuttle Series | GENZ BENZ £350 collected from Wigan, another £20 insured courier, mainland UK only. Sorry, no PAINPal, cash on collection or bank transfer only please. Not much else to say really, cheers, Karl. Please see my feedback below. 15. Rockinbetter Marc, it will be a good un, and top geezer to deal with peeps
16. Top bloke. Top bass. Just buy it, especially at this price peeps. Absolute classic, don't make Martyn have to get rid of any of his Wick's. Good luck fella bump.
17. Hiya Marc, 99% certain it's a Rockinbetter Mark11, possibly Korean but more likely a later Chinese. Whilst the ones on that Trade Tang or whatever site it is, are nice in the pics, they are made down to a price spec. Customers may also not get what they see in the pictures!!!!!! Rockinbetters in general seem to made to a very good spec indeed, whether made in the same factory or not. Plenty of people have had Rockinbetters and like them but I am still to be convinced they have any actual link to Tokai. None the less, the Rockinbetters are bloody good basses. Especially if you modify them with Rick pups Good luck, Karl.

19. I have now seen Mr. bagsieblue's Warwicks, and VERY nice they are too, especially the Dolphin, bump
20. Respect Steve, I know some of your CV. Cheers 4 Strings, whilst I don't slap, some of what you are saying is working out with this phenominal bass. I tend to use chords or tapping on the solo parts but the actives on this bass just make it so easy to put the final part of eq boost to do what I need. Must admit, the lead part rather than the solo would benefit from the othe ham fists backing off just a tad
21.
Karl, Two things: 1 - They let you do solo's?? - and 40 seconds worth??? 2 - Stunning bass...
Cheers Martyn, it is bloody amazing. AND I'm up to 1.5 minutes now with a Billy Sheehan piece
22.
My fav Fender colour. For the record Mr bagsieblue is a top banana and is excellent to deal with, and if you ask him nicely he'll show you his Warwicks. Can I say that on a Sunday?
My eyes, my eyes
23. Many thanks folks, but this rather seems to have helped
