Hello Si, it is indeed the Custom distressed Status from Ebay. Built for James Stelfox (Starsailor) at the same time as Martin Blunt's (Charlatans). Think James pulled it when he realised the low BIN would be hurt be fees. This was one of the ones before Status started the Vintage Artist series. Rather close to the Guy Pratt one. Meanwhile, back at the Mex P Bass Special Deluxe series, lot's more PM's replied, this will probably be gone by the end of today. At least three are in the final throes of pushing the button. Cheers, Karl. GONE THANKS, to a chap from Bumtree.

Christoph has just bought my now ex AV 75 Jazz Re-Issue. When it comes to selling something outside of the UK I am reluctant as I once had a big problem. As a result of that I will only sell outside the UK if the buyer abides by my requests. Christoph was absolutely marvellous and frankly shames me that he can converse in English better than I can. So, EXCELLENT bloke, deal with utmost confidence, Christoph is a credit too himself. Enjoy the bass my friend and many thanks for being so decisive and organised. Cheers, Karl. Edit, nearly forgot Christoph, link to strings Status Graphite. The finest hand-made graphite basses and guitars. Made in England. Further pm's replied, thank you. In response to one comment, I think the price, either couriered or collected, is rather good for a bass that is really not that far off the American version. Right, brag alert. The following Status Custom is why this cracking Special Deluxe needs to go

Howard has just done me a brown tortie plate for my 2001 Sonic Blue Jazz. Wouldn't say it was a good job, but not sure I need to bother with putting the screws back in . And it looks the poodles privates. Top job, top product, very fast service. Many thanks Howard. As Arnie would say "I'll be back". Cheers, Karl.

This was supposed to have gone on Friday but he never showed. I am now at 5 basses and need to move one on. If this doesn't go in a few days at the REDUCED price of £850 collected, I will be putting up my US Sonic Blue and Mex Precision Special Deluxe (1998 passive P/J pups, factory P body, factory J neck). Whichever goes first, the other two will be removed. I very rarely reduce my price as I think I always sell a quality instrument at a fair price. Watch this space .

As it says, 2007 US , American vintage 75 re issue. Natural, maple neck, maple board, black blocks, black scratch plate. ONLY up for sale because I am now the proud owner of number 167 of the 2002 FSR run of this model in Candy Apple Red One up these Natural AV75RI's on FEEBay at start of £1250. These are now discontinued, well thought of, and liable to be well sought after. Case candy is shown. The scratch plate has been pre drilled for the tug bar and pup cover. THE BODY HASN'T. My eyes nor my fingers can see or feel any dint's etc, but I am sure there must be on a 6 year old, gigged bass. If I could afford to keep it..... . It weighs just under 9lb. NOW £850 collected from Wigan, or will meet up within 50 mile radius of Wigan for no extra charge. Insured courier (address where somebody can sign) will be around £30, mainland UK. Payment by bank transfer, cleared cheque or cash on collection, sorry, no PAINPal. I may consider non UK sale, however you would need to organise your own courier/insurance. Sorry but no trades or offers. Anybody welcome to come and try it. My feedback is linked at bottom of post. Couple more links to help your research. Cheers, Karl. They picked the right day to bullet you, at least that******* wind has dropped off. Even if the clocks go back this weekend. I was out on river last Sunday, thought it was the North Sea, fishing past the third bloody breaker. Get a new band and enjoy the break in the meantime.
