1. Thanks folks, lot of stuff to have a look at there. I'll start with the pup I think. With this amp, every bass sounded superb through the Schro. Worst comes to the worse, I'll just use a jazz
2. OK. I was going to remove this last week when I returned from selling the Geddy. By the time I got home, there were two offers on the table. I have not bumped/commented on the thread as I was kinda letting it die for a while. Currently Neil's offer of full price/meet at Hartshead is the one I will take IF I decide to sell this. I am giving the Glaub a bit more time to sell as I would far prefer to sell that than this one. Everybody who has made offers has been told this. So, to answer the question , sorry but not up for trades. However I wish that Dakota Red would sell as that continues to tempt me to just sell this.
3.
If you like the 1126, then the D2126 is pure heaven. I've ordered two of them with the same appearance as this one: It will have the same black/crème vinyl, but the old brown cloth like on old Fender Tweeds, also two "TV screens" per cabinet front. I post pic's when I get them delivered...
Oh Lordy, a 212 that looks like this Barefaced for sale, mine!
4. So I have a Super12V, gk mb500. US jazz sounds bloody marvellous at a gig, with just leaving everything flat, except bass to about 1 o'clock.. My 2012 US Precision doesn't though. Not farting out exactly, but an unpleasant low distortion. Last night, bass rolled back to about 9o'clock on the amp, low mids back to 11 0'clock, high mids about 1 o'clock, treble 1 o'clock. I put the contour thing on at about 12 o'clock and that helped a bit. But still too much unpleasant bass and if I rolled the tone up on the bass itself it got very harsh and trebly. Kindoff at my wits end with this as I really prefer playing the P. Bad Co to Metallica/Maiden pub band, 40 or more gigs pa.. Any ideas gratefully accepted, BEFORE I sell it and go back to lovely Schroeder The amp handbook isn't much help as it gives recommendations for 2 pup basses. Thanks in advance for any guidance peeps, cheers, Karl.
5. Why did you have to put up more pictures, do you not realise how weak I am? This bass is so attractive to me because it is the Antigua colour I remember from being a young man. The ReIssues last year were fabulous basses, but to me they were not the Antigua I remembered, and sadly loved. Ok, at the risk of me doing something stupid, what is the weight on this please, and what is the action like? Cheers, Karl. Bump. edited for spelling as usual.
6. Another with mouse mat Mark.
7. As should the Shuttle
8. Looking like I'm going to Tim. I have a queue forming for the 75 RI that was reluctantly put up, despite purposely not bumping it since the Geddy went. Stupidly though I forgot to remove the ad.
9. That is 2 amazing, stunning, desirable basses you have up at the moment! Just, wow Bump.

11.
You're not too keen on that then Karl !
Spock, you are a credit to the Federation Or put another way, no.
12. I know this feeling. The Bass Gallery have somehow got the SEI that I commissioned a decade ago. I sold it to Loz of this very parish about 5 years ago when we were SERIOUSLY skint. It's in the Gallery at £1300 and I can't afford to buy it back.
13. Sod that. Shell pink in avatar, is that the one that was in a certain Edinburgh shop????
14. Would you like me to repeat it? YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

bad back

Met up with Jamie this afternoon when he purchased my Geddy. Really nice guy, decisive and did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do iyt. Faultless transaction folks so deal with confidence. My only regret was I couldn't stay a bit longer. The thought of hitting the M5/M6North junction at 5pm on a weekday was scaring me Top bloke, thanks for everything Jamie and enjoy. Cheers, Karl.
16. Reading post number 6 and the fact he hasn't been on site since May, it's probably gone.
17.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.... I didn't think I recognised one of the Leeds shops in the photo.... http://www.doctorbas...00171728&idfam=
Very good spot Pete. Plot thickens.

IMO

Sorry Hutton, I can't say IMO. My wife doesn't allow me opinions . (You are right though, I hope I try to avoid saying such things but I bet I cock up)
19. It is an absolute bargain, but with respect, I do think some decent photos, especially of pots/pups, would help immensely. Also of date on end of neck, as B necks are quite rare. Sorry, not trying to be rude, but even at this excellent price, it's a lot of money for people to be persuaded to part with. Also, perhaps it is mentioned in your previous thread, but is courier an option? I have a US 75 RI Jazz, there is one of those, 2nd hand, on FEEBay for £1250. That shows how good a price you have this P out at. GLWTS, Karl.
20.
ive never yet heard of a punter coming up at a gig and asking to see the back of an instrument to check for buckle rash and if they did would your bass skills diminish in their esteem if your bass was all scabby like?
My bass skills diminish in their esteem when we do the first number!
21. Link it on your signature, some of us are lazy you know.
22.
VAT is only paid on freight, for some weird reason. Seller got back to me and is happy to avoid the GPP.
That makes sense because freight on that item is a "new product".
23.
I wish the eBay iPhone and iPad apps would actually show me items located in the UK when I ask for it. Unless Poughkeepsie and Genoa have secretly ceded from their conventional countries to join the United Kingdom, they are failing dismally.
24.
i'm feeling flush, everything, and the kitchen sink
Flush, groan.
