1. What a simple and genius idea Sean, I would never have thought of that! Where's me drawing board
2. Mr Apple, just a query. Warmoth neck are all "rounded heel" they tell me, as is yours on the Cabronita featured. Pictures of new Cabronitsa both Squier and Fender, show a squared off neck heel. So to fit that neck, did you need to do any routing of the neck pocket? Bump.

4. Steve, if you want to get REALLY wonky, Fender do a Pawn Shop Reverse Jag, it's upside down
5. Yamaha Sea Foam, Peterbuilt Sea Foam and Fender FSR 2014 Sea Foam Pearl. Unlike Dingus I like green . There is a Squier in Burgundy Mist available. Hacks me off in PMT when you see Strats, Teles in the good colours but not basses. Meanwhile, back on thread, stunning white P, enjoy. 6. I'll be 92 when anarchy kicks in. I'm not going to be very good at it am I. Edit, mind if The Bass Gallery don't answer my email soon I may be bringing anarchy forward.
7.
I've got a new sea foam green pearl arriving next week from GAK :-) limited to 150 for Europe. Think they only had just the one on order.
It is most likely the 2014 passive run. Our New Mexico friend appears to be looking for one of the 2012 original run, which were active. They are very hard to get hold of now. I have the 2014 passive, now sporting tortie plate. I've sold most of my other basses (inc Sadowsky, Rick and Alembic) as this one is just everything I need for gigs. Enjoy yours, imo they are simply outstanding.
8.
Yes, that karlfer... what IS he on about??
Oh, I see, I get the picture. Wasn't like that down the docks last Saturday night though was it big boy!
9. Congrats BC Assuming I'm still on the right website
10.
Hello, I really want this bass, but I live in New Mexico, USA. Do you know what your price + shipping would be on that (if possible) in American dollars? and if it was done would the travel be more damage to the guitar then it's worth? I have a geddy lee jazz crafted in japan, and I've had a MIM fender active deluxe p bass special before... This is like the best of both worlds, just hard to find in USA.
Welcome Mykstar. roceci has not been on the site since May 22nd so you may be better off sending him a private message. To do that, go to the first post and click on his user name roceci, at the top left of post #1. That will open another page which will have a box with " send me a message" written in it. Click on that box, put in your title and message, then press send. The first run of these in 2012 were active, this years run are passive. Frankly you are better off waiting for one to come up in the US, however if it is desperate, there is still a new one at the following UK dealer Fender FSR Deluxe Precision Bass, Sea Foam Green however by the time you pay shipping (IF they ship to the US?) and any tax / import duties, this may be very expensive. Good luck whatever you do, Karl.
11.
Ah yes... Davidak! I knew I recognised that field.
Something you wish to share mckendrick ? Bump, great bass and price.
12. Well, I had my chance, just didn't have the loot at the time. Well done that man
13.
Love Jethro Tull, but there have been so many line ups I can never remember who plays on each album. Aqualung still my fave JT album and Locomotive Breath fave track :-)
Aqualung and Aqualung for me, but Thick as a brick is still up there.
14. Call me old fashioned but it might do better in the "basses for sale" forum
15. He hasn't been on the website since October of last year so it is very probably sold. You could try sending him a personal message. Top left of his first post is his name, luked. Click on his name. That will open another page, with "send me a message" near the top right hand side. Click on that, type and then send your message. Hope you get lucky, cheers, Karl.
16. My first bass in 74 was one of these. £10 it was. I put it in a skip a decade ago. The last strings I put on it cost £12 A complete piece of sh*te!
17. At the risk of me getting a written kick in the conkers JBF, Fender in particular seem to send the odd bass from USA, Mexico and Japan to our little isle . Even I have exported safely to Germany, Italy, Poland and Sweden as a private flogger. Nice looking bass. Bump.
18. I'm sorry, totally off topic, but Skank, what a splendid word. Disputatious. Grinning stupidly and now desperate for an opportunity to use it.
19.
This has all got very complicated. So to summarise... Discreet had an NBD thread relating to his new Limelight bass. WoT had a similar thread. I made a few comments on WoT's thread which, in hindsight, were not in the appropriate place. I acted on advice given, and started another thread which underwent a couple of title changes due to the fact that I was not 100% sure what the actual subject matter was! Many posts were made in that thread, and as a result of it (seemingly) the guy who makes Limelight basses made a decision about the branding of his basses. That was brought to our attention by Discreet in this thread. Despite Karlfer's accusation, I did not have (and do not have) an "agenda". I stated this clearly in the thread that I started. But some people do not read all of a thread before contributing. And to think that I was accused of being "easily offended"!!
How very dare you accuse me of accusing . I said "I think........................" (me thinking is a bit of a misnomer, but I'll let it pass this time)
20. Of no use to you whatsoever but if you source the jazz nut width Dusty version, I would like to know where, how much etc. I'm still baulking at spending £2400 on CS Dusty so would like to go with a Dusty style neck attached to Squire Classic Vibe 50's body.
21. IMO this is a great price for this head. The tonal versatility and power of these are amazing. They were far from cheap and certainly the EBSTD650 I had would outlive me. Good luck Alan, great amps.
22.
Oh, you poor deluded fellow! You'll never leave! I'm quoting this because I'll be bringing it up again and again, every time you trade, sell or buy another bass in the years to come. Bwa-ha-ha-haa-haah-haaaaaaaahhhh!!!
Not that long ago a certain discreet of this very parish mooted the thought of a name change. May one humbly suggest "bucket of frogs"
23. Yowser, what a tone! Oh well, only 12 weeks to wait. Thanks Mark, that is excellent.
24.
Well, I'm two gigs into a three-one-the-trot run, and I LOVE THIS THING. Lots of comments from band-mates and punters about its tone and looks. And the best bit is: the world hasn't ended because it has a Fender logo on it. Happy days, man...
Fabulous set up Michael.
