Saturday, Brofest 3 at Northumbria Uni. On at 4.00pm just as The Toon were kicking off the second half, a mile away. It could have been more packed at that time. Spookily it filled up big style about 6pm long after we had finished. So, bass duties for Troyen a short lived early 80's NWOBHM band We have sold a couple of hundred on the recently released 9 track CD, but we really could not have expected the response. Simply amazing and humbling. Photos/auto's with people from North and South America, Europe and Israel. I played like a clown but it really didn't matter. Fabulous gig for us. I'm similar to Gary except I use a Puma 500 head coz it's so simple. Only cab I would change for is Barefaced Gen 3 Super Twin thing, coz it's one less trip to the van! Looks fantastic. Having lifted a Dan Armstrong back in the day, plexi cab is not for me. For bands in the public eye, great niche market though, would look fabulous on telly. Is it necessary for 4 differing amp wattages though? Perhaps a 200 and 500 would cover most folk and have a slight impact on the company buying costs. Good luck, though, they do look great.
