1.
I posted this almost exactly a year ago. I still have the cab but not the amp. What does that tell you? http://basschat.co.uk/topic/245432-new-cab-day-schroeder-21012l/
You haven't got enough cardboard?
I'll answer that with a question: When will you see another one up for sale?
April 17th 2018
You've got the same problem as me Karl. No courier.
Yes but I'm going to the doctors. Ok, having practiced my stand up routine for Saturday, direct question Steff. Will you courier at buyers cost?
2. I'm surprised it's taken this long. These are brilliantly engineered, made in Germany yet very simple amps. Gig for me, put the Taste rotary to 1 0'clock for Precision, 11 o'clock for Jazz. Job done.
3. Ho hum, thinks . These are just a bit splendid. What to do?
4. Martyn is a TOP bloke, deal with utmost confidence. For those that don't like a couple of scratches, it'll cost you a tenner to take the lid off and get it stripped and powder coated. I'm thinking a fetching shade of turquoise (well, white actually but I wanted to see if I could spell turquoise ) GLWTS Martyn, see ya soon bud.
5. Apparently the new model does. Two points to cut or boost, something like 240 hz and 800 hz I think. Anyway this is older and doesn't. It has SR 705 on the back of the headstock, so it's a SR 705

Andy 67

Jeez Andy, I'm so dim . Anyway, feedback, ahem. ANDY IS A TOP DOOD!!!!! Thanks for everything Andy, just so bloody easy dealing with you. Deal with utmost confidence folks, top guy, top seller. And he's kind to slow on the uptake old folk!
7.
Unless I'm very much mistaken. . . . . this is one of my old Forty's.
Aren't they all?
8. On hold until Thursday evening, thanks all.
9. Arghh, was hoping nobody would ask. Thanks a lot Would rather not tbh, really must sell something. However, guess 4 string Fender with cash adjustment upwards for Yank/Japanese
10. As per title. I know nothing about modern Ibanez basses, took this as a part trade against my Road Worn. I'm putting it out at what the owner and myself agreed on in the trade. The new model is £625 new without hardcase. Very good condition with some light scuffing. Weighs a touch under 9lbs. Cash on collection from Wigan, bank transfer or cleared cheque please. Sorry, UK only this one. NO PAINPal I'm afraid. Insured courier £25 extra. Feedback at bottom of post, no obligation trial in Wigan. I think this is very good value for money at £300 against £625 new without a case. If I'm way out, please PM me. Many thanks for looking, cheers, Karl. 11. This one, not mine, logistics to be worked out between you and seller. You may need to scroll down quite a bit, it moves fast on that page https://www.facebook.com/groups/689090051102626/
12. Sometimes it's other commitments, outside influences etc, but there really are so many variables for each individual.
13. Brilliant guys, thanks for your support. Dave's a bit concerned that although Chepstow is sold out, York and Bilston ticket sales are a bit slow. So I'm sharing a bit of stuff around. We are in frequent contact although haven't seen him close up for some 35 years. Despite that he offered to remix the Troyen CD, plus add some keys, at no charge. Two of the arrogant twats said we don't need that Anyway, thanks for the support again guys, much appreciated, cheers, Karl.
14.
What you're seeing here is the reality of the internet, regrettably. Because we all use IDs and avatars, it's only too easy for folk to forget the "ID" they're being rude to is a real person with feelings. Don't worry York5stringer, most of us here would email you back and be friendly. We might even have a short chat. But like in all things, there's always some plonker out there who lets us all down.
This^ I also get hacked off when I see something wanted, know I've seen one elsewhere, go to the trouble of finding it, copying, pasting and sending to the "wantee" and the "wantee" doesn't have the courtesy to say thanks. I am however, guilty of not always replying to pm's immediately. If they come through on my phone I can just about read them, but seeing to reply is another matter
15. A chap I went to school with has his second solo album out. He has been in Iona for over 20 years and has played with Jack Bruce amongst many others. He is doing a couple of gigs to promote the album Celestial Fire. Dave Bainbridge is one of the nicest guys you could meet. He is also that amazing, that at 15 he was doing Emersons parts from America, on a Fender Rhodes, yet his main instrument was guitar. Please, if you are anywhere near, get to one of the gigs he is doing with his amazing colleagues, cheers, Karl https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1031787550173515&id=151193764899569 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3sINFvtPr4&feature=share
16. WELL, it's been part traded with an IBBY 705 that the owner knows I'm immediately going to sell. Due to 4 strings being too many for me. However, somebody is going to get lucky with that IBBY for £300 when I get it. Actually, it looks rather nice, yer never know, ladyboy gaytartists keep grumping at me to get a 5. Now, if I just stick to the E string and throw a few arthritic shapes
17. Gone, thanks for the huge amount of interest folks, cheers, Karl.
18. Sorry itsmedunc but always like to put up; 1. Secret sounds of T40 (VOL 1). 2. Gratuitous showing of one on my fav nostalgic photos. GLWTS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOLvGYHemPo
19.
How is this still here? Tom- sell the neck and use the funds to buy a 41mm slim profile from Musikraft! These basses are the dogs.
It's not, on hold pending payment. Many, many thanks for all the interest folks, appreciated and slightly staggering. Cheers, Karl.
20. ANYBODY who doesn't know female friend/relative who doesn't have luggage scales hasn't lived! Female friend/relatives luggage scales > piece of string > bass hung by neck > = bass weight. Seriously though, so many people ask on so many adverts. Me included. GLWTS
21. The perfect bass. What does it weigh please?
22. No contact from cash buyer for 2 days now. Any more before I go for a trade (again). Cheers, Karl.
23. He sold this months ago, he's just not PUT IT IN HIS TITLE.
24. Pleasure Marc I've Now had one cash offer at asking price (to be confirmed) AND [s]16 [/s] , [s]17 [/s] 19, YES 19 basses offered in trade
25. The Dee Dee was modern C Marc, with 41.6mm nut width, this is 44.5 but still a shallow C. It's a good neck, wide compared to the slimmed down modern P, but still easy to play, even for me, who has to try harder with most P necks. As before, very much like the Lakkie Bob Glaub standard neck, which was a bit of a revelation to me, in terms of why people really rated pre CBS Precision necks, despite their dimensions. To be honest, that anodised gold plate is doing my head in. Now, if it was on a WHITE 50's RI Shallow? Moi? It is very unlikely it's going to be around in a few days I'm afraid.
