1. Ask Tim himself, he can only say no. Very happy with mine
2. REG (Rare Electric Guitars) are one of the vendors on there and they appear to have a decent rep from what I've seen BUT I'm not in a position to recommend them. However, they are a company you might like to research. Good luck, I'd be more tempted to look at that Maruswotsits personally, although obviously more expensive.
3. All interesting stuff. As it happens my Nate went a couple of days back having been up around 10 days. More often than not when I've needed to flog something, it's gone in a couple of days. Interesting about the 50%. I look forward to seeing a year old US Jazz coming up at £550
4. As above ^^^^^^^^^^^ TimAl of this parish, top class work, great service and price. Even etched a little Eye of Horus on one of my plates. http://www.originalscratchplates.com/
5. Lovely Japanese MK11 Good luck with the sale, very nice!
6. When I tried a TH500, I found to get "decent" volume out of it, you needed to use the gain and some drive. This did not give me the kind of sound I like. The PUMA I have, well pretty much all set to flat, TASTE contol used to where I want it. Easily gives me the sound I require. I don't think volume is an issue with either amp, more a matter of what sound you want with that volume. This is just personal experience, not science. As others have said, the way to really open up either amp is simply speakers/4 ohms.
7. Nige has just bought a bass from me. Decisive, helpful and a thoroughly nice guy to boot. Thanks for making it so easy Nige, and absolute pleasure. Fully recommended folks, thanks again, cheers, Karl.
8. Very kind Hutton, really nice of you to say. The bass is now on hold until tomorrow afternoon, thankfully to a BC'er, as there have been a couple of Facebook people who "yeah, deffo want it mate" never to be heard from again Sold thanks.
9. Top bloke, great basses, 'av a bump Rich
10. Cheers Rich. The Facebook buyer has vanished, so, it's going on Feebay on Sunday, at £600.
11.
I think that on BC some people over price items, some people under price items and some get it spot on. It's when I find someone with good positive feedback, selling what I want at a price I find acceptable that I buy it. I'm happy for anyone, regardless of location, with whatever feedback, to advertise at whatever price they see fit. I will only pull the trigger when all my previously mentioned boxes are ticked. I really enjoy buying and selling on here as it's very rare that I come across anyone that isn't a pleasure to deal with.
^^^^ Nail>>>>head
12. For me, it's always got to be that compromise of a price both buyer and seller are happy with. Thankfully, many of us have feedback which suggests the buyer will be getting a responsible deal. THAT is one of the beauties of selling gear on Basschat
13. Have to disagree with you. Currently Nate Mendels, new, selling for around £770. Mine is 1 year old, new strings, properly set up, all the extras you would get with a new one. It's out at £525. I think a 32% saving on one that is frankly indistinguisable from new is a very good saving. If people are looking for more of a saving than that, no wonder the market is slow. Oh, I did have some EXCELLENT trade offers but they all involved rosewood fretboards, which I'm trying to get away from.
14. Quite a few popular Facebook selling pages now.
15. As long as you don't fall into a Tangerine Dream. Swift and safe recovery dood
16. It really is very strange tbh honest. I've been lucky and most of mine have sold within a couple of days. Yet strangely, my as new Mendel, a superbly eqipped P bass, at 32% reduction against new, no real interest after day one. I think, for what it's worth, you get lucky in that somebody is looking for one. Or you don't, and have to wait patiently. Still maintain that with a few exceptions, this is the most realistically priced market.
17.
Lollypopolicious!!!
Who loves ya baby
18. That's a lot of well sorted bass for not a lot of money"
19. Try Parcelhero. As stated, past Perth will cost more. I used to use one company all the time, then they stopped accepting anything over 125 cms. https://www.parcelhero.com/ Parcelhero, through their UPS service, will take longer items and so far have been excellent, plus their tracking is great.
20. A 210 at 46lbs isn't particularly light weight is it?
21.
You need to make any price enquires via private message
Or perhaps even read the 1st post! It's approximately 32% cheaper than a new one (yes, 32%). It's got all the gear you would get with a new one. I would hazard a guess that it is better set up than any new one will be. The only reason it is still here is because I've consistently declined to drop below £525, a price I consider to be fair to buyer AND seller. Anybody interested needs to have a look at my feedback at the bottom of every post I make, then decide from there .
22. Last bump for a while. All potential buyers have gone quiet. Shame but there ya go. Missing out on a very well equipped and sorted bass.

Dear God, that is gorgeous
24.
Bump for a very experienced seller

Absolutely, gentleman, scholar and acrobat.
Awww shucks chaps
Still available?
Currently yes, still available.
25. There are several of these models available from Fender Japan, 50's, 60's and 70's. GAK and RichTone amongst others, have had them for a couple of months. Think it's possible these were commissioned to run down parts in the factory? Or as a last swansong?
