Hey guys, I'm not using my Xerograph currently, so it's just looking pretty sad at the end of my board. Not to mention I've more or less got a sound in mind which I love! Price is £90 plus maybe £5 for shipping. Also means not waiting for one to be made (which seems to be taking over 10 weeks currently!) Bought new not too long ago! Ta!
... and as if by magic, it has been dispatched with a tracking number, the very day I asked for the refund! I got another apology and a small refund.
Yay! With any luck mines will be shortly then since it was just after you. -
This squeezer looks and sounds interesting.... EDIT: But not the price. Ouch.
I think Eventide could use the tech in their Pitchfactor pedal to do a pedal that is better.
Don't say that - I'm already heavily gas'ing for one!
Hey mate, I've seen a few of these come and go, all for around the same price... which I absolutley have no gripe with at all, I am however curious, what brings them there value? Are they a must have pedal? how do you rate it agains say a Boss SYB-5? Could you throw down a little more info about it? I am partly just curious, but also potentially interested! (might also help the sale to add a shade more info!) Thanks matey!
http://basschat.co.uk/topic/219919-akai-deep-impact/ Some insight here.
Well, after no response to my last email, I feel I have no choice but to cancel the order. I've asked for a full refund. It's especially annoying as I had bought a new power supply (one spot) and patch leads (OBBM) based on this promise of delivery. :-(
I've not had a reply back with my request of it being shipped before the 25th... -
I actually regret selling mine. I've used various synth pedals - but the Deep Impact nailed everything I wanted. Got the MarkBass one now, with a the BSW also. IMO as much as I love(d) it, the kinda money is mad. Saying that, I did sell mine for about 475 delivered. Not that long ago neither. I'm such a capitalist scumbag
Spencer at 3Leaf has a new fuzz called 'You're Doom' coming out. Here's his post on TB: http://www.talkbass....ml#post14996868 "It's essentially the opposite of the Duality. Here's how I look at them: The Duality takes traditional idea of a fuzz and executes it in a totally unique way, while the You're Doom turns the idea of a fuzz on its head. You're Doom responds to your playing dynamics. You're Doom plays well with other pedals and doesn't care if your bass is active or passive. You're Doom sounds like a square wave came straight from your pickups. It's called a "dynamic harmonic device" because it's just that - extremely sensitive to dynamics. You can "play it" the way you would play an envelope filter or a compressor." Too many nice pedals coming out..!
I like the sound of this too. Sounds like it'll be a right dirty bugger.
Unless you really must have the item then I think it's refund time, if you must have it then you'll just have to wait it out. I also agree it's totally unacceptable, if they're not meeting deadlines it's their responsibility to inform you, it shouldn't be your job to hassle. Steve
I've said I want them shipped by the 25th. If not, i want the refund. Can no longer say i'd refer them. Pedals are good but this lead time/constantly being told they'll be shipped that week is mental. All caused by them putting another unit into production... -
Just means I can't paint it though. lol
Ahahahahahah!
It is a chunk of alder (a bit of scrap from WoodyRATM's bass actually) which is cut slightly smaller than the hole, then padded out to a tight fit with felt strips for protection. I then split it and hinged it and found a gate hook in my odds and sods tin for the lock. As an original concept, I'm quite chuffed with the idea. With it's dual function, even more so.
Purple Beastie saves the day in the end haha! Looks amazing dude. I'll see it in action proper on the 31st.
Thanks. It's Utile... a relative of mahogany. Here are our (revised) tour dates. We also have a wee Scottish tour at the start of Nov.
I love how you go London to Stoney!
just thought it looked pretty to be honest, im not really looking to buy just yet anyways, the main aim is to eventually get a kingbass artist again, but saving up around 1500 for a second hand bass seems a million miles away if im honest... sucks to be poor
Natural Warwicks are very nice on the eyes I had a lovely one in a stained blue. Was lovely!
I used to do all my dropped tunings on a 5 string, why retune when you can just play the 3rd fret instead on the B. Ultimate in laziness. Also seemed to make It sound, I suppose tighter would be the best way to describe it...
What about those who either a ) don't own a 5 string b ) don't get on with them Xtenders are great. Need one for my Purple Beastie

I don't think these would work on pedalboards?
