1. Great heads these Doesn't break up quite as much as i'd like, but enough that keeps me happy. If the PF series were more reliable i'd have had that. Had no issues with the genz though
2. Hey guys, It's looking like I'm likely to need a much larger board than I thought. Likely around a PT-Pro in size. I've got a few options:- 1) buy the PT Pro 2) build one to suit. Both options will require a softcase (trying to keep my setup to "one trip" - bass, amp, cab and board in one journey!) I notice Thomann sell the Pro case for 100 quid, is there anything cheaper than this? Or am I better looking at other types of cases? Cheers!
3.
But listen up, kids, DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME.
That's right kids; do this in extreme public places instead.
4. Barefaced defo. I got my S12T/V the other week and it's fantastic!

7. Apparently we bass players are a miserable bunch who enjoy arguments!
8. Bought Enrico's BSW - great comms and great guy. Buy with confidence.
9. Yay booked for me and a mate. mailed equipment list too
10. These are actually glorious cabs. I had one a few years ago, but wasn't doing anything to warrant keeping it! Preferred the 610HLF to the full 8x10 to be honest. Have a bump on me.
11. I'll take SFX if the deal falls through!
12. I tend to get a decent enough Tim C sound with Jazz bass, amp with tube grit if possible (or higher gain on the pre), and now B7K but i managed with just the guv'nor (mk1) in the past. What RATM era you aiming for?
13. I think that every shop will have positives and negatives. Its worth having both IMO. From my dealings:- 100% positive! Bought a BEF Pro and HH3 and it travelled at the speed of light to Aberdeen. Was kept updated when it'd be shipped etc. Also bought a Mono M80 the other week - was told it would be shipped on the Monday (ordered late Friday) and it didn't appear. Called Mark and asked what the score was. He thought it had been shipped, so called the supplier and sorted it there and then. They had an issue and hadnt shipped. It arrived the next day. Also got an email from him apologizing. For those who have had negative experience; maybe give them another go we all have bad days! I've been grouchy to my users on occasion, not intentionally - just having a bad moment

16.
Christ on a bike - is this saga ever going to end!!!!!! Apparently BF had 6 cabs ready for collection by FedEx yesterday, but no-one turned up for them. They have been collected today, so if you're one of the other 5 waiting for them, they should be delivered tomorrow Would have been nice if BF had let us know, rather than me chasing FedEx today, thinking my cab had been lost in transit I must have done something very bad in a previous life!!!!
Me too buddy Looking at the tracking (which was a pain in the arse to get working!) mines looks like it hasn't been scanned out of Brighton yet. Soooo assuming Monday... When I'm back at work... Great
17. Post Amsterdam bump! Looking for something a little larger (ideally softcased too - but thats a if possible.)
18.
I remember throwing this idea around with Davie and Rich a few years ago! I'd be up for this! 18 two weeks tomorrow too
So in other words, somewhere near/with a bar (a good one).
19. I'm in!
20.
Me too! Though i am currently in Amsterdam untill tomorrow evening.
I do mean the cab. Not the wee
21.
Yay!!!!!!! Just been told my S12T/V gets delivered tomorrow I think a little bit of wee just came out
Me too! Though i am currently in Amsterdam untill tomorrow evening.
22.
Thank you for your suggestions, I have looked at the previous pedals mentioned before. Even been offered a BEF pro for a trade but DSP is not my cup of tea. I should have mentioned I am hoping for something under £100. Just bought the IE Oxide and already have a Frantabit. Love IE. Hence why I don't have much money left to spend!
Know the feeling mate! i'm waiting for my frantabit, nimbus and polytope. Will join the xero and oxide. Maybe the EHX might be best option (2nd hand?)
23.
Source Audio BEF (the BEF Pro is dearer)?
Think the standard BEF doesnt have an exp output? What about Iron Ether Xerograph deluxe? More pricey though.
24. Looked at the Lakland Skyline series? When I tested against USA Fenders, Sandbergs etc - i fell in love the with the DJ4. If you're ever up this end of the woods, you're welcome to give mine a blast
25. How does this work with fuzz pedals and the like? I'm pretty tempted to go wireless again.
