1. I'm fighting the urge to buy one and a Xero dlx
2. Fender Blacktop Telecaster in titanium silver, rosewood fretboard, maple neck. Pickups are a Kent Armstrong Motherbucker (original - a "hot" Motherbucker would be the modern comparison) in the bridge and a Bareknuckle Mississippi Queen humbucker sized P90 in the neck. Electrics have been upgraded - new 500k pots for volume and tone, volume pot acts as a push-pull coil tap for the Motherbucker, and both pots have been fitted with Orange Drop capacitors. Sounds beautiful - Motherbucker is a HUGE pickup made up of four single coils, and the MQ is a great P90 - cleans up wonderfully but can scream and shout when required. Would take £450 for it in the Aberdeen/shire area. More pics available on request. And yes, it needs a wee bit of a clean in that photo!
3. I really liked my EBJr - robust as hell!
4.
The colour!!
I know! So excited!
5. I should add as well, those are work in progress. But look at that paint! YASSSS
6. Okay - Had a proper discussion with Rich and cleared some things up. Good news is he believes that the paint issue is hopefully fully resolved now. More good news is that the neck work is looking pristine and perfect. And I admit, I was getting worried. But with Rich's attention to detail (some might say obsessive ), Should have known there was nothing to worry about. Soon my pretty!
7.
May I ask, how did you come across this talent?
I have no idea, used to be able to balance a bass upside down on my chin and forehead too. All I can say is I was 14, Living in Aberdeen and waiting for guitarists to get an ounce of skill so we could jam I had lots of time...
8.
If Hendrix could play guitar with his teeth, I can play bass with mine
I used to be able to do this. and my tongue. and my toes. I'm a bit of a freak.
9. Dave bought my headphones from me - fast payment and good comms thoughout. Use with confidence! I completely echo all the positive feedback in this thread
10.
I'd sell the sansamp and the B3K and buy yourself a B7K, you wont be disappointed!
I agree I even know a B7K for sale! hah!
11. How about £220 for both + postage?
12. I'd happily go a little less.
13. I had one of these cables once, died in about a month. Also +1 to Happy Jack - I did both.
14. After people have complained about the price (Not here I should add!), by £300ish. I mean around that mark. As in happy to discuss price. Sigh.
15.
I thought that was a new model from Alex's workshops....
hahahah I thought it was just me!
16. Hey guys, After some playing around for the last few weeks whilst at practice, I've found I'm not using this pedal pretty much at all. I'm going from clean to all out fuzz, my amp is able to give me the grit I want. So this awesome pedal is pretty much surplus to requirements. FWIW if I was doing more overdriven/distorted sounds, this would not be leaving. I managed to dial in a RATM sound in about 2 seconds (which is my idea of distorted heaven!) It's the finnish model. I haven't noticed anything bad about this pedal really. I don't think I have the box but it will be shipped very well regardless. Looking for about £300ish + postage. Cheers.
17. Mike bought my network switch, swift payment and let me know once the item had arrived. Would use again.
18.
Or this, he said shamelessly plugging his own bass http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1
Ohh thats pretty!
19. Try Bannermans? http://www.bannermanslive.co.uk/ Could be a good shout. Nice venue too.
20. I've heard some really good things about the Iron Ether Nimbus and Source Audio Reverb pedals.
21. Hey guys, It is with a little regret that I've decided to sell my Source Audio BEF Pro and Hot Hand 3. Also included is TRS cable for linking to 3rd party pedals and controlling with the hot hand. I still have the box for the BEF but I'm not sure about the HH3. Will be well packed regardless. I'd imagine shipping to be about £7. This video can show what the HH and BEF can do - These units are great fun and very cool to use, I actually upgraded from the std BEF and HH2 to this (for the additional EQ, Presets and 3rd party support.) Thanks EDIT: Been asked if I'd split. Ideally i'd like to sell them together but the individual prices are:- HH3 - £90 BEF - £160
