1.
Yay!!!!!!! Just been told my S12T/V gets delivered tomorrow I think a little bit of wee just came out
Me too! Though i am currently in Amsterdam untill tomorrow evening.
 2.
Thank you for your suggestions, I have looked at the previous pedals mentioned before. Even been offered a BEF pro for a trade but DSP is not my cup of tea. I should have mentioned I am hoping for something under £100. Just bought the IE Oxide and already have a Frantabit. Love IE. Hence why I don't have much money left to spend!
Know the feeling mate! i'm waiting for my frantabit, nimbus and polytope. Will join the xero and oxide. Maybe the EHX might be best option (2nd hand?)
 3.
Source Audio BEF (the BEF Pro is dearer)?
Think the standard BEF doesnt have an exp output? What about Iron Ether Xerograph deluxe? More pricey though.
 4. Looked at the Lakland Skyline series? When I tested against USA Fenders, Sandbergs etc - i fell in love the with the DJ4. If you're ever up this end of the woods, you're welcome to give mine a blast
 5. How does this work with fuzz pedals and the like? I'm pretty tempted to go wireless again.
 6.
only issue with my cab is that i wish i'd had money at the time to upgrade to the grill cloth!
I am close to chewing my own arm off waiting for mine.
 7. I keep looking at this bass. Oh god...
 8. Roqsolid do none padded ones. Still be about 30/40 quid I'd guess.
 9.
Yep - I often ask any musicians in the crowd how the bass sounds, and they always say it's fine! Sometimes when I stand right in front of my amp it sounds great - I can feel the bass in my stomach and I only need to play very gently. This is the best case scenario. Then I take four steps forwards and it all but disappears.....
Do you use the cab for monitoring only? try and get it angled to your ears more.
 10. Might also be worth uncoupling the cab from the floor.
 11.
Poor choice of words, I meant the email asking for payment as my cab is almost ready. This was mentioned in several earlier posts, and is pretty standard. Apologies!
Ohhhh thank god for that. Nearly had to change my kegs.
 12.
i just daisy-chain mine to a Diago powerstation . i've tried it with the Johnny Shredfreak one too, no probs. low-power draw. definitely not worth geting a separate supply for. fear not.
Yep +1
 13.
This thread really only tells us we've all got too much time on our hands! I'm patiently waiting for mine. The email about cashflow made me nervous tho... I think its worth remembering that the company is essentially three bass players trying to make the best gear they can with constant improvement being made to their designs. I don't mind supporting that personally.
Hold up... Cashflow email...?
 14. Mark at Bass Direct is great. Superb customer services
 15. This thread has fairly grown arms and legs! Jesus!
 16. I've read this thread with interest since my BF cab is nearly done. But I don't understand the issue with the wheels/Handles? As far I can tell, they are parts will be used all the time... Kinda like wheels on a car, would you expect the manufacture to replace all your tires, even though you've driven and used them? No. So whats different about handles failing after use? You don't ever want to replace a car tire, never drive the thing. You want to make sure the handle and wheels dont die at all, dont move the cab. I mean - if the handle failed instantly, that would be totally different...
 17. What about getting an extender? Thats what I use. Drop D at the flip of a switch.
 18.
Thanks for the replies. Has anyone got any other recommendations for good quality patch leads without getting too pricey?
I tend to use Lava ones.
 19.
Mmm.. Not sure they do the 42 in black, could be wrong.
www.effectpowersupplies.com/t-rex-tonetrunk-42-gigbag-1376-p.asp Its this one.
 20. Oh should add, this is the black board. Not the weird whitey one.
 21. Hey folks, Since I've bought some new toys - I need a bigger board. It's very good condition as is the softcase. Looking for £85 firm + postage (about £7 ish) or a trade for a larger pedaltrain (2 or 3) Cheers! Dave
 22.
Never played it, sounds interesting though! Okay, my board [SNIP]
Kev - are you running the IE units into the B7k?
 23.
He is, he replied to me.
me too Huzzah - cab paid for now. So close!
 24.
And whyyy was the Subterrenea not in your purchase frenzy?! . I have a Iron Ether board challenger!! You should have bought my Nimbus, save you abit!
Your Nimbus for sale again?! Balls! I was waiting for your review of the SubT And I wasn't sure if the MarkBass Synth would be a good rival to it!
Oh, and dibs on the Frantabit and oxide of you ever sell them please!!
Oxides staying Frantabit for sure man!
