I know you've just possibly ordered one, but if you're willing to drop >£1k on a bass, why not look at getting one built? One of my requirements of my purple beastie was it had to be pretty light. Not sure on weight atm - but it's insanely lightweight. No idea what Rich did but you don't even feel the weight really!

And thanks to an issue completely outwith my control - I wont back in the UK till Tuesday. So much for my offshore trip being 2 nights offshore... I've PM'd Alan to say I won't be coming now so my weekend ticket should be up for grabs. Sucks.

Hello - I was getting wrist pain pretty badly a little while ago. Went to the doctor and was suspected of CTS too. I was told to wear a wrist support (the ones with the metal rod) whilst sleeping to try and keep my wrist in the correct angle. I also was advised to get an ergonomic mouse for work (I work in IT) - so now got a funcy joystick looking thing. Did the nerve tests and found no issues...Until the doctor asked what my hobbies were. I mentioned bass (whilst miming with my hands), to which he said "Hold up, do that again... is that where your right hand sits?" I agreed - quick test found I was somehow trapping the nerve whilst playing! Changed my technique slightly and strengthened my wrists with exercise. Not much pain or issue now! Still get the odd flare up but it's controllable. Hopefully the nerve testing reveals whats wrong

Quite like the idea of this. However - I'm happy with my head and cab. I would quite like to use some of the more strange effects within my pedalboard... Presume you could run in/outs on the sonic port as per normal board? Can you disable the amp in some of these apps? Eg could I run Bass > Tuner > Octave > Fuzz > Sonic Port > Synth > reverb (for example)?

The price difference is insane. Prymaxe are pretty decent for shipping to here. Don't think I've been stung any time I've ordered from them!

Ou7shined on here. Rich took all my ideas and made them real. Based in Aberdeen. Bass looks and feels superb.

In a world where it's only the bad stuff about companies mentioned, Thought I'd let people know of the great service I received today. I ordered a certain pedal ( ) last night, forgot to use my loyalty points - thought bugger it, I'll try and get the cash back today. Emailed the guys and got a response within about 2 minutes saying it was no problem and I'd be refunded the points value asap. I know it's not much - but the speed and the fact they're willing to do this is great It's the little things that count! Very pleased

I took a chance on the PF800 after hearing tons of issues about the 500. So far the 800 has been perfect (touch wood!). Dunno if Ampeg changed something with this model?
