  1. We had a great gig at a little pub in Mold , North Wales , it seemed a bit quiet setting up , but was bouncing by the third number. Got called for 3 encores finishing at 12.15 it took ages to breakdown for all the dudes wanting a chat , very pleased with the performance and the staff were a bit gutted as we are not due back there until December πŸ˜‚
  2. What a great discussion my only insight would be that I get where Lennies composition entry style comes from , they have a style that is supposed to sound like they do 😎 Where as mine just end up sounding like they do
  3. It has become very easy and fairly painless at places we've played before , it's the new places that can be a PITA , when laying out everyone appears to have the need to ask everyone else to reposition themselves or their kit by about 3or 4 inches in a random direction. I just laugh now but it did get a bit stress full at one point . The singist now does a little bit of rhythm guitar , has the smallest kit but spreads himself all over the place ,wireless inears monitors , wireless guitar sends , wireless mic ......and wires and wireless boxes every bloody where !!
  4. If we are picky then 'Draper' is a brand who do actually make 'Phillips' type bits or drivers much like any other tool maker , Stanley for instance And for a specific shapes of 'Phillips' you need to specify the size e.g. 1,2 or 3 back on topic if you asked which was the most popular number of 'Philips' , I would confidently say 2 , though I would caveat that by suggesting that many would use a 2 when a 1 or a 3 might be the better choice , and even that is ignoring the fact that the screw head might even be a Pozi 1,2 or 3 in the first place and not a Philips at all life is so bloody complicated 😊
  5. It was from freesound.org freesound.org/peoο»Ώple/reinsamba/sounds/73178/ο»Ώο»Ώο»Ώο»Ώο»Ώο»Ώ there's loads of good stuff on there !
  6. If you are a bit under the influence when hearing it, it could easily be the all the objects of your desire
  7. You are the whistler then , though you could be the whistlist if you acknowledge the dark side πŸ˜‚
  8. We used to play a regular haunt that went through three management changes in 6 months , each time it went worse , to the extent that the clientele were all off there heads on substance that wasn't alcohol and the toilets were blocked and swimming in pi55 . It feels dirty when you know your pedals will be stomped on by my pi55 soaked shoes
  9. Well I think that the discussion has ultimately gleaned that the person doing the singing is the singer , but then I knew that all along !
  10. πŸ˜‚ leathering is the art of fisticuffs outside of the marquess of queesnbury's rules 😏 Alternatively, a girl started beating up her boyfriend at the event πŸ‘
  11. Did you get a pretty one 😊 .....oh sorry I thought it said sharing
  12. Day was that we had backing singers providing backing vocals , hey dude can you sing , we need some harmonies ? sorry dude I only do backing vocalisations ..πŸ˜‰
  13. You are always thinking about rogering
  14. If it's done my mr Whittaker you can call it Rogering if you like !
  15. Vocalisty stuff is that , and poo
  16. A voiceover artist would definitely be a vocalist , as he is vocalising the words , but the minute you put them on a melody you will be singing it , so it has to be singer , simple really , non of your trendy vocalist wordage , it's just not big or clever πŸ˜‚
  17. You've certainly sent us on an odd tack it seams
  18. Well I thought the material had potential
  19. Oh that's right , manipulating the thread again 😁
  20. Maybe they don't spend enough time worrying and debating these important terminological distinctions , typical vocalist attitude , singers would care 😁
  21. Yes I think folking vocalist works better
