  1. @Skol303 The mighty Skolster will do the deed , I just hope he is not away for the morning , though I suspect he is just sitting waiting for his internet to fire up so that he give the photo the urgent attention that is needed ๐Ÿ˜„
  2. Yes, yes, yes , but where is the picture , if I don't get a valid excuse to be busy, I'll get dragged off to church , the bells are ringing already ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  3. I took cash the first time as they hadn't 'invited' us to invapay. effectively , the pub sends you an email, you then have to follow a link to set yourself up . You then take, or email the pub, an invoice for the gig fee and the pub then raise a payment ticket on invapay The pub then pay invapay , who, a week later, pay you and charge 2.5% for the privilege , the money goes into the bank account you chose when you set up your invapay account. I think you have to go to your account and confirm some details to approve the payment, but It is not an intuitive process on the whole. I only do 3 gigs a year there so I have to think it through each time myself ๐Ÿค”
  4. Well done Mark , well deserved win ๐Ÿ‘
  5. Just returned from a bouncing gig in town , it was races today so there were plenty of well oiled punters about. A couple of loose cannons but nothing outrageous so a good time was had by all , they really were shouting for more but the midnight curfew put that idea to bed
  6. I ordered some 4 weeks ago , there was another thread that I commented on , but can't find it, anyway its not gone well so far ๐Ÿค” 1. All the correspondence went to my email junk file so I was a bit embarrassed when I chased them up for the documentation ๐Ÿ˜ณ 2. The first appointment at boots for the mould impressions was cancelled as they only booked a 15minute appointment and needed 30 3... the second appointment failed as I had wax in my ears 4.... the third attempt fell over as the audiologist was unexpectedly off work 5 ..the fourth attempt was done , it only took 10 minutes ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ณ 6... it appears that the mould impressions taken were not deep enough so we have to start again I'm going to a different place this time , though boots have put ยฃ20 on the wife's advantage card ๐Ÿ˜‚
  7. Voted , top quality again , and thanks to all for what seems a healthier vote count as well this month๐Ÿ‘ Last chance for a few more though ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. I use 5 of the ADJ Tri Pars through a ryger foot controller . Every venue is different as lots have plenty of ambient lighting so the floods/blackouts and even the fades and sequences are lost . but smaller gigs I light the ceilings as it spreads really well , always have a stage front pointing at the bass drum as it both lights the kit and shines back out . The others cross light the stage at floor level , with a cheap mirror machine on a stand facing the front occasionally. It is surprising how many bands have nothing to offer for lighting , it does make a difference๐Ÿ‘
  9. Total fail , this rig should NEVER leave the bedroom ๐Ÿ˜‰
  10. Woah now , I'm still trying to nobble the software to give myself my three votes though in all fairness , the wife says I'm not too good at nobbling things , so I guess I'll just clean the keyboard ready for the next one , but I'll keep a little space on the wall just in case I get lucky enough for another certificate ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. Well I'll go for the obvious one ... stacking all your kit in front of a solid door so that anyone coming through it will destroy everything and causing themselves an injury in the process ๐Ÿ˜„
  12. Or that the Germans invented beer mats !
  13. Does your mother know rocks out really well , we could never quite get dancing queen to work in the set
  14. We do and we often claim it was a request ๐Ÿ˜„
  15. http://www.nme.com/news/music still available on that t'internet thing , you auldies need to savvy up , ๐Ÿ˜‰ Chrimbo I tell ya , fill yer stockings ๐Ÿป
  16. We regularly announce songs as requests , it engages the punters quite well cos although we might not have time to do all the requests , at least they know we are trying , we get away with as long as they don't see the set list ๐Ÿ˜‰
  17. Believe some of it ๐Ÿ˜ฎ I'll have you know I'm using all of it as references looking for my next 2 album deal . It will be front page NME before chrimbo dudes ๐Ÿ˜‡ ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿพ
  18. I guess hearing my back catalogue is what inspired you to join basschat ๐Ÿ˜ you have a refined ear my friend ๐Ÿ‘Œ
  19. I thought that after submitting mine! I didn't listen to any until mine was done , then when I did , I was taken aback at how good they were. I take the view that everyone might put up a duff one one month and I'll get a certificate ๐Ÿ˜‚ ...... but certainly not happened this time
  20. That's why it amazes me that on some instruments you have to take the neck off to adjust them , it is just asking for issues
  21. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I'll have to find someone who took some , I had my hands full all night . even the playlist on the iPod needed monitoring as Lurksalittle had collected 4 hours worth of songs from her and her mates choices , but they all played at different volumes ๐Ÿ˜‚
  22. A quality little soirรฉe last night , we played for an hour at lurksalittle's 18th party . massively stressful lead up to it and setting up , and I've still got to go back to finish clearing the room ๐Ÿ˜ณ She chose the set list for us and everyone was bouncing along to it , it was a blast ๐Ÿ‘
  23. I felt the same when he first 'turned' country , but he really knows his stuff , he knows all the links and collaborations in the genre and when I hear him interview people they sound interested in what he says . Now, he could be bluffing it or just being totally professional , either way I guess he is doing his job and I reckon he would ditch it if he wasn't interested in it.
  24. Wow an hour sounds ambitious to be , I really know nothing about podcasts at all , I've never even listened to one !! I guess it comes over like radio chat , but an hours worth is surely going to take some putting together ๐Ÿ˜ณ Im not sure what I can do to help but I am crossing my fingers it goes really well ๐Ÿ‘
  25. A top night out in Anglesey for the razors last night . It was a return visit to a little pub in Amlwch . A bit of a treck but boy do these guys know how to party ! we started at 9 as it was chocka to try and keep a hen party in and did well to hold them in for 40 minutes but it meant we had to throw in an extra 30 minutes of material . All in all we were on for 2and a half hours and rocked the place . LL wanted us back for 2 more this year but we only had one date left in the diary , so he took that ! a good night with good pay ๐Ÿ‘
