1. Ah Shucks Douglas , thank you dude . I have now voted, and listening to all the treatments there is much in all of them that has great merit , maybe a mash between the lot, taking the bits I particularly liked would work , well done all , it is quite amazing listening to the fruits of some peoples imagination , well done all .
 2.
I've done another couple since, and have another still on the hob.
I didn't really mean as an entry to hold the space , more as an 'album' filler to pad the gaps out between the good ones
 3. Ah Dad , it is your inspirational shooping that made me do it , still, your ears are still free for a continued treat even when watching paint dry , and with any luck it might make it last longer
 4. I have had a listen in to the work already in , and I must say gents , absolutely top drawer , I think I will leave mine in as a filler
 5. OK then , I'm in link removed sorry I still cant get to the point where my voice sounds any good and thats a shame because I keep putting more sounds in to disguise it and the tune just started to sound a bit busy , I got it quite good at one point then everything I did made it worse , so lots of backwards engineering , 1 step forward 2 back On the plus side this was great fun to do this month, I tried lots of things and learnt a fair bit doing it , I really enjoyed putting it together and even better , we have just had the fibre put in the village and the upload took less than a minute , stroll on , who'd have thought it . I hope you enjoy it ed to add I have done a bit more work on the production , and will put the new one up shortly sorry all ,
 6. You can try , but you are more intertwined with my entry in this months composition than she is....... as it currently stands .........
 7.
Can't be any worse than mine! I've been tempted to get autotune, but for the moment notch filters, reverb and delay will have to suffice...
Oh yes , I am with you all the way , but I have invoked the wrath of 'Reatune' with a fairly heavy attack , so its a full house so far from me , the only trick left is to have it so low in the mix that you can barely hear it , I asked the daughter if she would contribute her beautiful vocal tones , but alas , she says my vocal work so far makes her ears sick and she does not wish to be associated with it
 8.
at least you have the bare bones, i have nothing
It amazes me sometimes how something just kicks in and gives me an idea , I don't for one minute suggest it is a good idea , but it's something to work on , and besides , with this challenge I find the journey to be as much of the fun as the destination
 9.
..? At least you've got an opening first line..! (... although it might swing better as 'At least you have the bare bones, I have nowt'. Can you pull off the accent, though..? )
Oh , Dad, you are sooooo close , I have tried to put on a fake accent to add a bit of interest to my dire vocal tones , I am not a fan ofy own voice but at least I have disguised it a touch .
 10. Everyones a bit quick off the mark this month I have the bones down , I have even recorded a vocal , but again , I am really hoping to get a visit from someone who can sing to give it a proper shot , even Lurksalittle winced at the suggestion she could contribute , so while it is a little bit poop , it just might have to suffice , I will hang on in hope though . I will listen to the others when I am uploaded , looking forward to it .
 11. I am stuck between a couple to be honest , they all have some great ideas , I will have another listening session tommorrow and make a call
 12.
Shoo shoopy shoo shoopy shoopy shoopy shoo pah pap pah Shoo shoopy shoo pah pap pah shoopy shoopy shoopy shoo pah ...
DOH , i'll have to write a new chorus for my November one now , I inadvertently read yours ..........again
 13.
I like the influence of Cage in this piece... And Mr Lurks, may I suggest a cross of Divine and Wang Chung with a touch of Sylvester and Chic?
You may indeed sir , but you are likely to find that it sounds more like boney M with an Anthea and Donna influence
 14.
The pic is called "Last Days of Disco", and was taken at the legendary Studio 54 night club in New York...
If I could write a Wang Chung song for this it would fit quite well , HMmm OK noodling time
 15.
Here, then, is my entry... 'Last days of Disco'... Enjoy.
Quality
 16. Well done Mr Smalls Thanks to all who voted , and well done to all the entrants , top stuff from all , even the 'edgie' ones. If you have a picture to let Skol have , we can get started and Dad can get his entry in before breakfast
 17.
How to put on a brave face and see the positive in everything, Lesson 101... I can be proud and flattered that my modest work has (at the time of writing,at least...) been considered by the literate public as being of equal merit as that of Bilbo. That, in itself,is reward enough. (I'm not certain, of course, that Bilbo reciprocates this point of view. )
Bizarrely mine took a turn at the first stage , when I inadvertently listened to your monologue and broke my first rule , I had a thought of a similar thing for my entry but had to rethink
 18. I have a vote , YEEE HAAAA Many thanks to the kind soul who put a tick in my box , I think I can face November now, having got an approval for October
 19.
Always a bridesmaid.....
At least you get on the top table I only get in because I keep trying to kick the door down
 20. I will need a couple more listens through, brilliant efforts this month gents
 21. I saw them last year ,with Rival sons absolutely brilliant gig , too far from me on a school night I;m afraid , GLWTS
 22.
Ask my neighbours. It woke them up and has given them ideas...
I think I got this the wrong way round, my composition was supposed to reflect the picture rather than generate a load more be still there demons of war , bed time
 23.
https://soundcloud.c...er-1/iron-giant Here we are. I wanted to reflect both the power of the machine and the melancholy of the body language. I think I got it.
great piece , I noticed a couple of ideas that I tried , though yours may have been done a little....... subtler than mine
 24.
How do! Not been about for a while, been busy arranging a wedding then getting married. Here's my entry for this months challenge that I've knocked up. It is a soundscape inspired by ideas and thoughts about Industrial ideas, sci fi, AI, could robots have thoughts souls etc. Anyway here it is https://soundcloud.c...artificial-soul
it felt like the inside of my skull was being searched , well wacky
 25.
I got inspired (arguably!) and with some crazy 'boning by a local jazzist, produced this: https://soundcloud.c...fference-engine For a change I used both Wal and Sandberg basses with plenty of effects to disguise them!
that works really well , excellent stuff
