1. Pocket, any day. But make sure it's flat!!
2. I've got an unlined Jaco Jazz by Navigator and it's amazing! Have a bump from a fellow Nav owner.
3. Looks like a transitional model with the pop-in knee rest and the V2 bridge. Have you dated it?
4. I saw that Steiny when it was on the BD site and personally don't think you paid too much for it. These are excellent instruments, although the '80s tag hangs on them like a moudly rag. I'm still looking for a fretless XL or L but these are rarer than hens' teeth.
5. Never been lowballed here but plenty times on ebay. But local Gumtree is the worst! More low-ballers and time-wasters on there, clowns who say they'll be at your house at x-time and then don't show, don't answer mail.
6. Anyone finds out where the other dates/venues are, please post.
7. Not happy about missing this. Not happy, at all.
8. Well, that will should be interesting! I'd love to witness/hear this but I'm abroad, then. If anyone from BC goes, can they please post a trip report and, maybe, a link to some media? Anyway, here they are, before they fell out... Pil
9. Used to have one. Dunno why I sold it, for it was a lovely bass. Very prominent tone from the ebonol fingerboard. Dirt cheap for what they do.
10. Whoops! Thought this included instruments. As for a rig, still not keen on it.

We're back...
I have exactly the same problem. How can I ignore the wraning permanently?
Close browser, clear cache and retype.url. When warning appears, click 'ignore' and then your browser should ask you if you think the site is safe. This seems to be a Google issue.
12. Will now consider parting out at a considerably reduced price. The neck is as new, and has the overhang. Also, there's a lovely, irregular flame to the neck. [s]Seeking £250 shipped mainland UK.[/s] Neck withdrawn! Pups are Wizard '64s; looking for £50 shipped. Body with control plate, pots and bridge, £60 shipped. The flats may also be available but I'll confirm that if the parting out commences.

We're back...

Nope, deleting the bookmark, closing the broswer and clearing the cache still brings back the warning. Seriously, is it ok to mark this site as 'safe'?

We're back...

Still getting the 'attack' warning when using my bookmark, though can get here if I ignore it. Will delete bookmark and try again.
15. Bump for an excellent and under-rated bass.
16. Still reminds me of a cuckoo clock.
17. Interesting that he hasn't popped the hood. I'm no expert on '70s Jazzes but the Mocha finish was fairly heavy duty and age would not render it as it is up there. Refin, of some kind, And though the thumb-rest is certainly at the wrong angle, imo.

SOLD!

I had a black one, Japanese non-export. I also had to fit Hipshot 'butterbean; tuners as this was something the Japs left out. Bump for a rare bass.
19. The terminals on the pups should be ok. I've never heard of a pup going dead from the internal hot or cold dropping off after excessive solder heat but I'll bet it's happened loadsa times. Always unsolder (or snip off) from the pots.
20. I saw one of them in the flesh in a department store in Prague when I was a teeny! It was cobalt blue and I fell in love with it. Hhmmmm....
21. RIP with your P, Donald.
22. Strike that. Seems Gjones has the 212 version up my way, so will save on freight. Good luck with sale, anyway.
23. And she's winging her way abroad! Thx to all who supported this thread... and the other ones.
24. Recent PMs replied. She may be on the move...
