This amp was the musician's spare road amp and is in vgc, bar a small rip in the grill fabric. These fellas go for over £2K; my man is asking £850. Anyone interested in the 4001? Given that the V63 is selling, I can afford now to consider a trade on the 4001. If I can't shift it, I may part it out, given that it's non-original.

Piano for several years (was sh*t at it, but the theory was valuable) then just melted when I saw a P-bass on an album cover and that was it. Played bassfrom then on and drifted onto guitar years later. HAd a brief fling with a bouzouki (oo-err, missus!) but mainly bass.

I was the runner on the local crew on one occaison back in the '80s, up here, and I was kept back until the end of their awful show so that I could fetch curry for the ****! I ahd to get menus from at least three separte curry-houses. In the end, he and his mates settled one one and chose their scoff. After I had delivered it, I was just about to head home whne the call came down that Hat-Boy didn't like his curry and wanted it changed! Talk about an M&Ms moment!

Ebay is a minefield. I won't go into my horror stories but you must confirm everything with the seller before you go ahead with the deal. That said, paypal and ebay WILL eventually side with the buyer if they are seen to have complied with the seller's terms and that he himself has failed to describe the true condition of the item. Trust me: ebay was worse, years ago. It ignored everything and trying to speak to a human being in customer support was nigh on impossible.

Just had another 'hold' back out on the V63!!! Beedster, not everybody can skint, surely? Anyhow, I'll open this to offers for a few days only, say till Monday, as I have to make a decision about the D-55 by then.

To me, they're too 'hi-fi', at least the Series 1 I had was. I found it unwieldy, cumbersome and really didn't enjoy playing it, though it was a beautiful instrument. Can't opine on any of the other models, sorry.
