Ok, getting ready to part this out. Reasonable offers considered on all parts of this bass. Would still rather sell it as it is, though, but there are other things on the horizon.

This is the 4001 I had up recently. The orginal thread has been deleted cos I withdrew the sale but I still need to shift some gear so here we go again. Was gonna keep it, refin in white and punt but I've not got the conviction to do it. [b]Sold[/b]

when I said 'make me an offer', I didn't expect an insulting one at £650. Shaggy's evaluation of this bass is spot-on and I have reduced it to a stupid price. I'm almost now tempted to keep it an ship it to Jimmy Moon for the refret and get it refinished in white. Ok, hopefully by now the troll has been bounced and the sale can continue. There's a couple of offers on the go and of course I will entertain a 24hr appraisal.
