1. Dodgy as. Didn't they have a RIC RM1999 up there fairly recently? Wonder if that was one if the nicked ones as they're rare than hens' teeth!
2. Welcome. You had The Beatles; in Edinburgh, we had this lot!!
3. It's weighty, mate. If you can organise your own courier, it's yours.
4. One of the old stalwarts. 10 channel desk (2 stereo), L+R out, 300watts a side, Lexicon effects and L+R EQ. Mic/line/inserts on first eight channels and host of.... aww you can read all the blurb here. Lexicon is a bit noisy and faders could all do with being cleaned. £60, pickup only.
5.
Yes I remember, Howard! Fire had yet to be invented, the wheel was basically just a concept and the sky was dark with pterodactyls.
Glasgow???
6. I'd agree with Rick: circa £3500k. But I wouldn't pay anywhere near that, not with that fkn Badass on it!
7. See, given that he's 'Stateside, if I was that seller, I'd ship the bass back to RIC and get it properly refinished!!
8. I saw that a few days back. I actually did a WTF?? when I saw the pick holder! Niiiice.......... I guess this reinforces the mantra that instruments should be played, not hidden away. But, by God, what a mess of a CS! I'd have loved to have seen that one in action!
9. Trust me - the contemporary Strat was worse!! They lost the middle pup tone control and substitued it with the jack socket! To compound this, Fender stuck on the worst bridge/trem unit I've ever seen. A true dog, but don't lump that Jazz along with this..................
10. Defo early '80s job. What's he asking?
11. The Lowdens hang on the wall with Hercules hangers but I really fancy some wooden racks for the basses and the four upstart Teles!!
12. Thx for the cache solution. Very interesting.

14. USA Craisglist is FULL of loonies, like this guy! He's popped up in different guises and locations. A true fruitcake!
15. If they can';t supply specs or take the R values themselves, I'd leave well alone. All that Stellah stuff seems to be cheap as chips, though, so price may be worth a risk.
16. Big up that bass!!
17.
Did you take a look at the Quiklok stands? Much better than the ones wrapped in foam. Come with a set of casters, although this one is just sat directly on the floor.
Too much like what I have. Just fancied something a bit more easy on the eye.
18. I thought I had something hiding away on the laptop. The attached is showing the 250/250 circuit with .05mfd and 220k components but note the statement that says that sometimes 300/500 pots were used.
19. Yes, I recall that diagram, too. Need to have a look at the ciruit on that stacker that's out on loan when it comes back. If it's got the 250/250 pots and the 220k resistors, it may well have the older caps, too.
20. There's one left in Red dog, Edinburgh. I tried it, acoustically, and it felt smooth, fast and really alive! They had it at £349 but I see they're going for under £300 on da web nowadays.
21. yes, looks like I may have someone.
22. Thanx for those. Seen the first one, earlier. They're almost the right idea but I hate those bookends! As for the plans, I hate DIY of any kind so that's out the game.
23. I'm getting fed up with those metal n foam things in the house and quite fancy some of the geetars and basses sitting on some nice wooden racks. Can't seem to find anyone of the net who does them, other than a site that's aimed at the classical muso. But I'm sure ive' seen such for guitarists in the past, maybe in the back of Q or somesuch. Anyone??
