  1. Hipshot discontinued the BT5 years ago unfortunately. Been looking for one for ages, but no luck.
  2. Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
  3. Heaven is a Plaice on Earth - Belinda Carlisle
  4. I'm curious as to how the Spector compares to your Ric's? Obviously, a different sound, but feel of the neck, weight etc.
  5. I'll look after them for you (not the plough horse though).
  6. All Woman - Lisa Stansfield
  7. Am I Going Insane (Radio) - Black Sabbath
  8. Unbelievable - EMF
  9. I Think I'm Going Bald - Rush
  10. Mama Weer All Crazee Now - Slade
  11. Surely you can squeeze a bit more out of it?
  12. Fly Away - Lenny Kravitz
  13. Wow, would love one of these. GLWTS.
  14. At Dawn They Sleep - Slayer
  15. Line6 POD Go. Yes, it's not as powerful as the Helix range, but IMO, it has everything that a bass player needs, certainly everything that I need in a great sounding and versatile box.
  16. There is something a bit disconcerting watching people in their 50's playing "Teenage Kicks". 🤔😄
  17. War Baby - Tom Robinson
  18. Bizarrely, I'd love to fit a couple of single coil soapbars to a T'bird. It'll be interesting to see how this one turns out, there's a picture of Lemmy when he was in Hawkwind playing a T'bird with a muducker in the neck position.
  19. Those natural finish through neck Thunderbird's are fantastic looking basses.
  20. I'd always hankered after a Rickenbacker, finally bought one and it was everything I expected and more. Unfortunately, I had to sell that one, but managed to pick up the black 'plate version in my avatar a few years back. Owned a few "nice" basses, and a lot of "iffy" basses, the Ric's beat them all hands down IMO. Though the Westone Thunder 1A and the Aria Pro II SB Special II were definite stand out basses.
  21. Condemned to the Gallows - Voivod
  22. Because in the 40-odd years I've been gigging, I've never had an issue with any of my kit. Always carry a spare set of strings. Only ever had one string break when I've been playing, and that was 30-odd years ago at a rehearsal.
  23. I can understand taking a spare instrument if you are in a band that's going to play 2-3 hours worth of music over numerous sets at functions / weddings etc. However, if you're playing 30-40-60 minute sets down the Dog & Duck, then I think it's probably a bit overkill.
