  1. Can't beat a Jetglo 4003 IMO. Good purchase. 👍🤘
  2. Tempting, but too far away. GLWTS.
  3. I always lusted after Lorne's Bich bass, so jealous of that one.
  4. Walk the Line - Johnny Cash
  5. Should have waved when you were in Snecky.
  6. This is so true. I've had tinnitus for nearly 20 years now, good earplugs are an absolute necessity for managing it. Even wearing headphones is enough to set it off, so when I've done recording sessions, I need to wear earplugs, so IEM's are out for me. Always tell my lad and his band-mates to wear them, hopefully they will listen.
  7. Spent many hours (and pounds) in Electro Music. Always very friendly staff and varied stock. Don't live around there anymore, so since EMS stopped trading, there's nothing in Doncaster anymore. Rich Tone in Sheffield is a great, and Rockem in Rotherham is great for drum stuff.
  8. Down in the Tube Station at Midnight - Le Confiture
  9. Looks like you bgot a real bargain there. It doesn't look like it's a bolt neck from the pics, so it could possibly be a US built one.
  10. The comparison between a Multi or a load of pedals was the one that's kept me on the multi trail for some time. It was certainly what I looked at before I bought my POD Go.
  11. Fabulous looking bass. GLWTS.
  12. Do you need it for "just" effects or for amp/cab sims as well? If it's just for effects, then maybe have a look at the HX FX? Zoom B range get good write ups. Or, there's always the tried & tested Boss GT range.
  13. Context would be good... However, if money were no object, then I'd go for an EBS Magni 502.
  14. @AMV001 a subtle take on a 4003 from HW:
  15. That means there will be lots of used Helixes coming onto the second hand market not long after these are released. Wonder if they're going to update the Stomp, Stomp XL & POD Go too?
  16. Swinging the Chain - Black Sabbath
  17. Wishing (I Had a Photograph of You) - A Flock of Seagulls
  18. As I bought a FlyRig v2 recently on here, I had a quick look at the manual for both the FRv2 & BDDI. There isn't a blend control on the panel, and it doesn't look like there's any facility for it in the manual. Don't forget that you also have the 2 channels of BDDI/VTDI, Compressor & OctaFilter, which can do the AutoWah thing, as well as sub-octave & fuzz. Versatile piece of gear. I couldn't belive how small it was either!
  19. Black Coffee - Black Flag
  20. Must resist! That looks like a beautiful one too. GLWTS.
  21. Indeed, you can't really go wrong with an Ashdown (no experience of Peavey or Bugera). If they're local to you, then get out and try them.
