Currently have the Celestion Pulse 10 IR's on my POD Go, quite happy with the results. Although the standard cab models are good, they didn't really quite hit the mark. Did a bit of research and found the Celestion site, who had loads on offer, took a punt at the Pulse range, and glad I did. What are they? WAV files. How do you use them? Load 'em into your box via your computer How do they work? Electronic Wizardry Where do you get them? https://www.celestionplus.com/ Are they worth bothering with? Yes if you want to play about trying to find something that sounds a bit "better".

"Upgrades" rarely seem to increase the value of the instrument over standard, and if it does, it's minimal. If the upgrade (or "mod" is the other one) is of value to you, then you're going to pay the extra, if not, then it isn't worth it.

All the ones that were let go, were let go for a reason, and you just have to get on with it. If the reasons were different, I might not have had to sell the Thunder 1A, my first 4003, the blue '99 Tokai Love Rock, the '77 Ibanez Artist 2619, or the '78 Iceman IC100, but they went, and other stuff came in.

Too Much Too Young - The Specials

I would expect that the same post Brexit rules on trade & tax would apply if someone in the UK bought something from a retailer in mainland Europe, that any tax is paid to the retailer, and therefore no tax is paid on importation into the country of delivery (anyone who's bought anything from Thomann for example would attest to this). They could always get on the Eurostar, and nip in to the Gallery and make an event of it.

Yes, Side 2, they're obviously good songs, but I just never thought they were quite up to the same standard as Side 1. I went off them a bit after Signals, then by Hold Your Fire I lost interest (still saw them on the HYF tour though). It wasn't until Vapour Trails that I thought they'd recaptured their spark, through to Clockwork Angels. Even in the synth years, their sound was commercial, but the lyrics were always thought provoking.

IMO, Permanent Waves is a far better album in the whole, than Moving Pictures, which has some utterly incredible songs, but also some "filler" songs, where PW, all the songs are great. A Farewell To Kings is another brilliant album. The R40 DVD is well worth a watch too, because of the "rolling back" through their career.

Isn't the red script reissue Mini Q a buffered foot switch? Think the purple script is when they switched to true bypass (and stopped putting those really cool control knobs on).

Two Minutes to Midnight - Iron Maiden

I miss my big box Small Stone & Small Clone. Wish I'd kept the Mini QTron I had for a short while (though "Mini" is a bit of a misnomer, it was a similar size to the Small Stone & Small Clone, which were anything but small).

So I joined the queue at position 188-odd thousand, waited for about an hour and a bit, only to find out that there were no tickets left. Hey ho.

Police and Thieves - Junior Murvin

The man is an artist. Lovely looking bass, enjoy.

My second bass was the Black/Red Raider, in about 1986, though I really wanted a Thunder II or III. Managed to get a Thunder 1A in the early 90's, and it really was a brilliant bass. Wish I'd never sold that one. After the Raider, I bought my first Aria, the bolt neck SB Special II.
