  1. I already have a 9 string ACG, to be honest I don't it's possible to build a better ACG than the one I have so I'm covered on the ACG front! It is indeed very specifically a Warwick SC7 I want...
  2. I've not had any issues with contact, had a nice back and forth with Hans P Wilfer, always seems to respond within a few hours. The quote came back from their build master at the custom shop... I died a little when I read the number... €16,093. (£15,000ish) Either I need to sell the vaste majority of my collection (which would of been the idea) or my requested spec needs a re-think! It would be a truly outstanding and totally unique instrument if built...
  3. Which of course makes a single string worth £250 odd.
  4. They did have the option of 'buy 3 and get 5% off the 4th', that changes everything!
  5. Bargain... https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F132287421259
  6. Morning all, I'm debating placing and order with Warwick's Custom Shop, has anyone on here ordered a bass directly though Warwick's custom shop? I've had a bit of experiance with Warwick and they always seem very helpful and quick to respond, just interested to know if anyone has had a bass made for them through their custom shop and how they felt the process went. Feel free to share a picture of the bass you ordered too! If it's of interest my order would be for a 7 string Single Cut Thumb with a few extra bells and whistles and some quite fancy exotic woods (got a small handful in mind!). Ta, Russ.
  7. To throw my hat in the ring I would say £800 is overpriced... GAK tend to (again in my opinion) overprice all of their second hand stock. For comparision I just picked up a 2001 German made 6 string bolt on Thumb bass for £860, you would be best having a hunt on the second hand market where you are buying direct from the previous owner and not a shop as a shop will always take a 20% (give or take) cut so you are paying at least that much more. Negotiating with the actual seller is always a better option!
  8. I shouldn't... but... I really like this! Are you open to trades sir?
  9. After a discussion with the seller I would agree with Tony. The seller says The Bass Gallery set it up, which at least resulted in the bridge being levelled, but I think this is not one for the pros. If it was advertised for £200-300 I might take a punt but for me £550 is too much.
  10. The bridge has been set up slightly better now it seems. Looks perfectly playable with the current set up, maybe the luither had a brain fact when installing the bridge hence selling it cheap-ish?
  11. Very odd modifications... Did they have the desired effect?
  12. Good God... If that were a 6er I'd have it. Love these.
  13. Someone wanted a thumb a bit too badly...
  14. No worries, let me know if you do want it mate!
  15. I don't, but I can securely post if you want?
  16. I'll check on the voltage tonight and post a message!
  17. No, though I wouldn't be surprised if he owned it at one point!
  18. Afternoon all! I've just acquired this rather lovely but 'pre-ampless' Sei Headless 6 string, looks like it' going to be an awesome bass once up and running... What's the opinion of which pre-amp would be a good addition to this beast? I'm currently thinking a Noll 3 band but open to suggestions and opinions! Cheers, Russ.
  19. Basildon, in Essex. About 15 mins or so from the Dartford Crossing.
  20. To be fair that was Tye Zamora's spec! He had it on sale on eBay a few years ago for a bit over $10,000. I personally really like It! But not at 10k.
  21. Any chance of postage sir?
