  1. Back in the day when I owned one of these, they sent me out some bits so I could replace them myself. Great service. Just a note re: sending it back to them - if you need to be careful you don't get stung by the Inland Revenue when it comes back.
  2. Dave's a genius.
  3. Yeah, I had three lined up in the next couple of weeks.... all gone.
  4. I wish they'd do more rosewood options with the Decision...
  5. I love the new design. Beautiful. GLWTS, and I hope the gigs return at some point soon.
  6. Oh God... the one that got away! I always wondered where it ended up.... gah! Here it is in action. I'm off to smash open my piggy bank and see how much is in there.
  7. I've always liked the look of 'em.
  8. There's something about Celinders that is just pure sauce, and I can't put my finger on it. Beautiful.
  9. He made a (valid) point. I merely said it’s been mentioned and discussed earlier in the thread. *shrugs*
  10. This has been covered earlier.
  11. So was mine, and I came to a different conclusion. They didn't ring my bell even when they weren't being pushed to the limit.
  12. IME the bigger the venue, the less relevant the backline (IME). It's the clubs and bars where this is especially important to me. I want that tactile feedback.
  13. Most of 'em, I think :-D
  14. It’s not about volume - it’s response and dynamics.
  15. Hence my comment earlier re: Gamechanger. The car radio amps aren’t doing it for me.
  16. Of course.
  17. Fixed it for you: 'This blatantly misleading marketing was only applied to the RH heads, but then they got found out so didn't do it anymore'. 😄
  18. The attack of the notes is a symptom, too. (I’m not going to use that word)
  19. Yeah, but over the years I’ve generally used old-school cabs, not BF etc.
  20. I’ve heard this a few times, and the bit in brackets is in line with what I suspect is at the root of this.
  21. That’s not my experience.
  22. This is the sticking point in the discussion, I think. Some notice this, others don’t.
  23. Yeah, pretty much. Everyone hears differently I guess, and the amp manufacturers want to market & sell what people want to buy (i.e. featherweight). FWIW, I've been back in A/B-land for years now, and unless someone comes out with a genuine game-changer, rather than the same old in a new frock, I can't see myself moving back any time soon.* *Other opinions are available
