Chester's on drums and Kim Beacon sings. Everything else is TB.

It's a good album, only let down (IMO) by the nagging feeling that some of the tunes would have been better with a tougher production and Collins and Rutherford on board.

I've got lots of experience of the TKS S112's and S212's. Great cabs, extremely high quality, light, and (a bonus for me) ceramic. They're far more to my taste than the Berg HS210s and EX12's I ran beforehand. They sound more natural, with clearer mids. IMO, you can't go wrong with them. I've also used a few Barefaced cabs before, and quite liked them. You're spoiled for choice, really.

It's quite right and understandable that you want to try one first, but FWIW I ordered mine blind... and I absolutely can't fault it. The build quality is impeccable, and bear in mind you can spec it with pretty much any hardware you like...

It's a shame NY isn't on the boat with them..

Have you searched? I've posted a couple of threads. If you're anywhere near Newcastle you're welcome to try mine. I can't fault them - IMO, in the P and J department they've got Fender, Lakland, Sandberg etc. on the run.

Yup. It's also important to point out that youth culture before The Beatles broke was VERY different to after. It was a fundamental shift that only Elvis, punk and (IMO) Nirvana can hint at.

Energy, looks, stage presence, writing skills, instrumental skills, musical knowledge, a thirst to learn more, a thirst to succeed. If the Dave Clark Five had gone over there first with a back catalogue ready to go, do you really think they'd have made the same impact?

He wrote some great tunes, but a lot of guitar parts where he was left to his own devices are sloppy and half-baked.
