1. Shame you won't post, I'll have it if you change your mind.
2. I knew that was coming, watch this space....
3. So I'm looking for a lightweight bass and we travelled to York last Saturday to pester Gear fo Music's big store. Trouble is there wasn't anything light enough apart from a couple of Ibanez Semi's which were actually quite heavy. The only other thing hanging there was an Epi Viola McCartney bass, the guy said "go on give it a try" so I picked it up and it was very light indeed. I felt a bit glum as I plugged it into a tiny little amp that was connected to a huge cab and switched it on. Oh my God, my ears are still bleeding! my brain broke loose from its moorings and bounced around my skull. How powerful were those pickups? Immense things, anyway I turned the volumes down from 2 to one and started to enjoy this bass but what impressed me most was the fit, finish and quality of materials used. The grain is superb both front and back and matches beautifully, the rosewood board grain is tight all the way up and the fret edges are a work of art, I haven't seen this kind of build quality on a bass for some time. I had to buy it. The price of all this? They sell for £229 in their store but because I'm a regular online customer I paid just £159! wow.etc' happy bunny. Not saying this is my new gigging bass but when my back is really bad, well you know....
4. Just sold Colin my G&L Jazz and it was a perfect transaction. (His wife has great taste ) Paid extremley quickly, our conversations were friendly and the deal went without a hitch. I strongly commend Col to you all, he is a perfect gent and member of this manor. Many thanks mate. Tom.

13. I have a mint one of these and can confirm that they are excellent, even got the hardcase. Bargain for someone
14. Thanks guys, corrected the mastike now, it really is a great bass if you're a young whippersnapper with a liking for Jazz necks
15. In my quest for a lightweight P bass this is my next one for sale. I bought it a few months ago and much as I like it I can't get used to a Jazz neck so it's going. It weighs about 9 lbs, plays like a dream and has no issues. Looking for £300 posted to the UK. I'm sure I can find a gigbag to pack it in. 16. Replied to several pm's, better hurry if you want it, the guy I bought it from is interested in having it back too
17. Thanks guys, I'll look into the Ramone Karl. Skelf, that's an idea too but I don't really have the time or skill to start messing about so it's easier to offer it to someone else. FF if it had a filter preamp someone would come along and want a U retro can't win.
18. Hi all, I recently bought this gorgeous bass because of the very light weight, just 7.5 lbs and just look at it, feels great to hold and the balance is just right. It's this one: http://www.acguitars...io/g025-finn-4/ Here is some info from the previous owner: Neck wise, I'd say somewhere between a P than a J but it's been a while since I've played a Fender though so my calibration may be slightly out. Nice to get around on and the asymmetric carve and flat board is great. The condition really is like new. Oddly enough this is the one ACG that I have only ever used at home for practice. The Minimum Lacquer Finish allows you to just feel the grain on the Wenge top. The back and neck are both satin smooth. The Maple board is acrylic impregnated so dead easy to maintain and keep clean. What the ACG website doesn't say is that this bass was the spritual forerunner to the Uber Graft series as the spec is identical and it also has a Zebrano veneer between the top and the main body wood. Plus the higher spec tuners than the normal graft basses had. It's completely unique as well as being the only Graft bass of any spec with a Wenge top. The controls from the stack nearest the neck and working back towards the jack socket are as follows; 'Front' stack: Top volume / bottom pickup blend Middle stack: Top treble boost & cut / bottom bass boost only 'Rear' stack: Top mid boost & cut / bottom variable mids frequency The reason I'm selling this now is that I can't get used to the U Retro, being a P bass user for most of my (short) career it's just too much fiddling about for me and no reflection on the bass. The bass has comes with a standard ACG issue Fusion gig bag in equally good condition I would be interested in a trade for a lightwewight Precision but nothing else I'm afraid and as always, cash is king. Thanks for looking. 20. Got the same bass, unbeatable but the weight is killing me with my back, it's only 9.5 lbs but too much. It has the loudest pickup of any bass I've owned. well done that man.
21. Just bought an ACG from Alain, met up in Batley for a quick chat and handover. Really nice guy, bass is lovely, great deal and super basschatter, everything as described. Thanks Alain.
