1. The speakon is superior connection to a 1/4 jack (period). No output/scientific reason not to go amp > cab > cab but I prefer to take two outputs from the amp to the inputs of the cab; my reasoning is that should one lead fail I'd still have some output. If you did it amp/cab/cab and your fist lead between amp and cab #1 failed you'd be left with silence mid song/gig!
 2.
A bargain at £741 - nearly half price
You say nearly 1/2 price but ebay generally reflects the market value. It wasn't listed in the wrong category, misspelt, it didn't have poor pics etc... it is simply that at this time of year in the UK that is what it is worth! It could have been listed on here at £1500 and people would have Oooohed and Aaaahed but I doubt anyone would have put their hands in their pockets and bought it!
 3.
Regarding packaging etc, I've made good use of cardboard bicycle container boxes from Halfords etc. They're good thick cardboard, and 20 mins with a stanley knife should enable you to cut one down to the right size and shape. I've then packed the guitar/case/gigbag whatever in layers of bubble wrap and/or crumpled up newspaper, left over cardboard etc which are all lightweight and give good protection from bumps etc.
THIS
 4. 2nd hand Thunderfunk!
 5. Sometimes better to join local Facebook 'bass' group and watch for stuff coming up for sale.
 6. Lovely electro-acoustic, approx 10 years old. Plays nicely and I'm only selling as I've recently got a Taylor guitar. The colour is a bit more muted than it is in the first picture, more tobacco burst than the sunburst that it looks. Good but not mint/new condition; no major dings or scratches, I'm being honest about condition (it'll probably be better than I'm describing it)! Please note the case isn't included.
 7.
You have a huge role in your band, are you paid more than the other members. Blue
Band #1 I get £20 per gig out before we do a straight split, this pays for the upkeep of my PA. Band #2 require bigger PA, hence I get a straight split of profit.
 8.
BUMP. New price £495 . I will measure and weigh tonight (been away fro a while)
Still waiting for weight!

 10. The first pic makes the finish look darker on the bottom, do you have a better pic?
 11.
Just checked and on my kitchen scale (accurate to 20g I think) it shows 4.1kg.
Hmmm I had my doubts when the original seller assured me it was 8.2lb! Really appreciate you taking the time and I'm sure this'll find a settled home soon. .
 12.
Yes, one guy on here listed it and we traded basses - he has my Maruszczyk jazz bass and I got this Lakland - after cleaning, moisturizing and setting up - back for sale as I didn't get along with it as well as I thought I would
Cheers for clearing that up. I don't think there was any clarity on the exact weight, would you have a decent/accurate way of weighing it?
 13. Was this for sale on here/ebay/Gumtree recently? I seem to recall the dots as opposed to blocks and the fingerboard chips?
 14. Used to do this one; quite pertinent! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivrHgl-w-OU
 15. Also NE based here and unfortunately unless you are one of the (very) well established local bands you'll not get much more than you've stated... in fact £210 for a 3 piece is as good as you can expect. I've played in 3/4/5 (and even a 6 at one point) piece bands in the NE for 37 years and I'd say that the pub money is the same now as it was 30 years ago; if I get £60 per night these days I count myself lucky... once or twice lately we've averaged £40 per man!
 16. If it doesn't sell, give me a shout.
 17.
Any particular reason you want a Streamer? I only ask because the original Streamer shape is the Spector NS - nicked by Warwick in the '80's. They do tons of models in that shape and IMO are better value.
No point turning anything into a Warwick/Spector bunfight because what you say is fact... other than value! A proper German made 80's - 90's Streamer will be cheaper than a comparable USA NS bass.
 18.
aye - he goes by the same username on here too .
What Luke said!
 19. You've got everything from Rockbass to full blown Custom Shop and everything between; to describe them all is a tome. It would be easier if you had an idea of budget then you'd get a more concise/clear answer.
 20. Welcome. SE Northumberland for me but I'm often further up the coast swimming.
 21. Sadly you could opt for option #1 @ £100 and still end up with an empty pub!
 22.
Not sure what TLC entails but at this price it might be a bargain http://www.ebay.co.u...Y4AAOSwImRYJ0HJ
£476 for a m***er with a broken neck... WOW

 24.
Would be nice to A/B test the same bass with the original P positioning, maybe it is not a big difference.......
Not a realistic option really. I have a Warwick Streamer Stage I reverse (as per all Streamers) and a non-reverse Streamer (as per Fender) and the wood density/weight etc is so different that a comparison throws up more questions than it answers.
