  5. ... Same as a Signiture Series... wasnt this just a std bass in whatever colour... different if 'their' bass was a 'custom shop commision' back in the day... Understand if the original was significantly 'modded' and then reproduced... but...
  6. Canvas tool bag? Screwfix or Toolstation...
  7. Thanks for the link earlier... Just went back to the Rush bit... Surf's Up Geddy!... Enjoyed That!
  8. Dont know much... but i'd be trying to wick or syringe in wood glue, pva, titebond... not superglue.

  10. I've one of these... another worthwhile check is the effects loop, see if the return works.... Would love the grill for a custom paint jobbie, but too far. Hopefull it will be of use, even as a 1x10 cab?
  11. Space Ritual - Hawkwind Overkill - Motorhead
  12. Basschats Resident Wire Man @KiOgon aka 'Looms-a-plenty' is ya man... I have his neat n tidy VT loom in a P and a VBT in a Jazz... Loads of satisfied customers on Basschat. Lot of love for the Wilkinsons and Entwistles... keep an eye in the FS...
  13. Ibanez... looks equi gap at about 7mm rather than string centers...
  14. the difference at the nut would be greater... so equal gap may help... less so at the bridge so 'string center spacing' to make machining easyier... I can see it being a 'thing' for gtrs and chord palying etc, but then the strings are a whole load skinnier and teh difference a whole load less!
  15. Interesting Blah Blah here: https://www.stewmac.com/luthier-tools-and-supplies/types-of-tools/straightedges/string-spacing-rule-6282e9ad/
  16. Here Come The Warm Jets - Brian Eno
  17. Fingers crossed... Natural Wax for me... I've used Rust-oleum Furniture Clear... Big tin for a tenner... they also do a couple of tints... For Wax (and oil) i dont think you need to go super smooth, best with a bit of wood texture to take up the product... a warm and worn used look,
  18. Are those Inside Inches or Outside Inches? May help...
  19. Monster Mash - Borris Pickett
  20. It may be sitting on the luthiers shelf waiting to be claimed?
  21. If Harley Davidson made Double Bass'.. Your playing would become Potato Potato...
  22. Pics please... Please correct me if i am wrong. String Spacing at Bridge (for the non adjustable kind) is usually center of string to center of string... rather than between strings... But, At the nut the spacing looks to be a 'divvy up' of between strings... bassed on say 45-105... with a bit left for the outside edges... Wonder how an 'Exact' - same string spacing centers with half either side- nut would look n feel?
  23. Some of the body woods etc look like BAX home brand Fazley, bit Thomann HBish.
  24. A thing of beauty and wonderment... Back of the Ne(t)ck!..
