Sterling by Music Man… Joe Dart model by stealth?
Brian18242 replied to fretmeister's topic in Bass Guitars
Andertons have it listed on their website for £1000+. Probably because it's limited edition they can up the price slightly. If it came in at £700 I would think about it but not sure at 1k. -

Just over £1000? Slightly disappointing as I thought it would come in at roughly the £700 mark -

9.5 radius? I'm sure the older SB14 version had a 12 inch radius? If the price point is good I may well purchase one -

Yep, that's the exact bass! Before any decision is made I will be calling up to discuss. I agree, the specs listed do not match but that looks like a copy paste error. I think the usual resale price for a MTD Grendel 4 is between £400 - 600 so it is at the top end but does look like a nice bass

£600 seem like a good used price?

Any feedback on the MTD Grendel / Bass centre stadium bass would be greatly welcomed! I have the option of purchasing one but know very little about them? I'm looking for a modern jazz and they seem to tick the box. The one I'm looking at is a bass centre stadium 4 bass.

Let me know your thoughts. Have you ordered one of the vintage reissue models?

Quite fancy getting hold of one of these. What's everyone's thoughts? Cheap, build quality looks good, and they do a lovely fiesta finish. Only concern is the weight? Are they heavy?

Always loved the old hamer 4 string, Dug Pinnick played. Would love to get a reverse headstock bass with a p pickup.

Many thanks for the detailed response

I have a slight issue with one of my basses. The strings are sitting right on the frets from the 24th fret right up to the nut. I'm in no way an expert but looking for options to resolve. Possible truss rod adjustment? MOV_0666.mp4

Hi, Thanks for your interest. Too be honest, the pickups may be wired correctly as I believe one of the pots is for tone. As mentioned, I bought these new from https://www.gak.co.uk/en/emg-pjhz-set-pj-style-passive-bass-pickup-set-black/929082?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA98WrBhAYEiwA2WvhOuWk6-DQ6mQ9i_mpYEgTY9B5MHIgo_cP-Hp7tHSeb188KP6cTkIVYhoCDssQAvD_BwE Regarding the bridge, I decided to buy a fender hi mass bridge as the old bridge was on it's last legs. Massive amount of interest from the US on this bass but very little interest in the UK 😉 42 nut and 16 radius. I'm more of a jazz neck player but found this bass to be very comfortable. Any other questions, just give me a shout -

The Cort does look great, but I quite fancy a bodied headless for comfort whilst sitting.

I'm honestly on the fence about ordering a SQOE Headless. Guitargutiar confirmed there are no further plans to bring in anymore SQOE basses. Ordering direct from Thailand may be quite costly with VAT
