    @simonlittle Yep, this was my fear. I do wish the Tobias brand was sold on to a company that could make them to a higher standard. From the photos on the Gibson website it does look the killer B is a small step up from the Toby line (Better pickups etc) but certainly not worth the £1300 price tag

    I have always wanted a Tobias Killer B4 or Growler 4 but they are near impossible to find at a good used price. I'm very much on the fence about the new range of tobias basses. Do you think they are worth the £1300 price tag? I know Gibson released a promo a few months back but since then I have heard very little fanfare. From the library photos on the Gibson website the build quality looks fairly average for a bass in that price range. What's your thoughts?

    Really on the fence about this bass. Out of interest, are active pickups with a passive EQ a commen thing? Not too keen on neck binding.

    Honestly one of the best basses ever made at a fantastic price! I would snap it up but I couldn't settle with the 7.5 neck radius.

    It's purely cosmetic as I hate the oversized sterling bridges. I prefer the slimmer looking stingray bridge 👍
