1. If this was yellow it would've sold . Have a bump
2.
I used to have an original (unused) membership card from the Hacienda nightclub and an old ticket from Donnington Monsters of Rock (1991), both sold on eBay. I also used to have one of Jason Newsted's plectrums... I caught it when he threw it into the pit at a Birmingham NEC gig many years ago. Can't find the damn thing now, so it's probably been unwittingly thrown away!
I've got a donongton tkt ( Bon jovi ). Left original at home , bought one on the day . Can't do that now
3. Ride the lightning sweatshirt signed by lars in the duke of Cromwell pub . It ended up in the washing machine , so it's very faint now . Nuclear assault. 1 St album whir label test pressing with a press release note Motörhead f@@jk off bootleg ep Iron maiden sound house tapes
4. Probably active circuitry( providing your bass is active ). Had this problem with my Washburn status . I got it changed from an active to a passive. ) you may not want to go that far ).
5. There was me thinking , of a small fluffy toy or something
6. I used to have one of these. Awesome amps. Only sold because band broke up, and I went for a small combo . Nice price. If I were flush , I'd buy this myself. Put this together with a db12 or whatever , and you've got a great gig set up. This shouldn't be around for long
7.
Fixed. ...
!

9.
Just a heads up Ray, you mentioned you were looking into finding a sampler: Amazon are doing a Black Friday deal on the Korg Volca Sampler which by all accounts is a rather nice little unit even at full price. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Korg-Volca-Sample-Digital-Sample-Synthesizer/dp/B00NKD1PUI/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1448551596&sr=8-4&keywords=Korg+Volca
I'll look into this in the morning , cheers

11. Some great advice here , as always . The worst year of my life is almost over . I feel very mellow tbh. I may make a big decision next year . Put on loads of weight due to steroids, I keep waking up around 2.30 am ( steroids?) Apart from that , and a change of life needed, I'm fine Thanks for your kind words . I'll probably start playing the bass again around Xmas time , when I be got time to assess

15. If you're playing along to black sabbath or korn,( or even Metallica ) it's not gonna be e a d g
16. Wrong neck of the woods for me , but I love the band name . Have a bump
17. Cheers . I'm not one for jam nights . There's only so much blooze I can take mind you , if I play my records backwards I may get my car/ house / baby back . The dog might even recognise me
18. I would say that some of the somgs you're jamming to are played in a different tuning ( low d/ e flat ?) seems everything else is fine .
19. Yeah, I've had long periods off in the past like a lot of people . This year is the worst year I've had regarding personal / work life ( just under a month to go before its finished;) ) Maybe it's just a break that's needed for the moment
20. ..I am putting this down to myasthenia gravis , which I still have . It just makes you tired/lazy/lethargic. Looking at the amount of basses I have , the fact I'm not gigging anymore , and looking at some of the posts on here remind us that ' bass is not a solo instrument ' I feel that maybe I could try a different angle musically .( enjoying playing something again ). Even with the various effects I have , the enthusiasm isn't there . For example , I completed a collection of boss mini rack effects from the '80s , as yet I have not bothered with them . Same with the bass whammy o got on here . I have a couple of USB keyboards ( akai mpk mini and a full size radium oxygen something or other). What does appeal to me , is a sampler as such that can record my bass in a pad format , so I can play some key sounds with it . I know I complain about GarageBand ( and computer recording in general ), but when I get more financially comfortable I will get a new iMac / laptop and get logic and get the apple genius people show me how to use it . When I bought my Mac mini , I never knew that you get free lessons . I like the look of the moog keyboard that's like a Taurus .( can't remember name ) . I don't wanna play guitar as it doesn't feel Right in my hands. So , question is ; should I reduce my bass collection to one ? Any other instruments I could use in a flat ? Cheers
21. Malmsteen hammy odeon . Schenker pulled out of the gig, as it was supposed to be a co- headliner .Tw@t! Malmsteen was awesome. He even threw a broken strat which my friend got
22.
The first time I heard 'Deep Purple in Rock' it had a profound effect on me. Got me totally hooked on rock music and still am. Saw Deep Purple in Knebworth in '85 and they put on a cracking show
Purple were good a knebworth , but the scorpions smashed it
23. Van halen , the classic tangerine dream lineup, Actually , as I started going to gigs in '79 I would've seen franke/ frose/ and one of the others .Missed Chris franke at the festival hall ( tho the album is boring ). Had a tkt for Pete nam look at the Astoria ,but it was cancelled and now he is dead Tool on the 100000 days toir. Just getting into the album , after the tour was done
24. These are great basses. If I wasn't insistant in sticking to headless, I would have this .. Love the colour. Ady , is a top bloke to deal with also Glwts
