1.
Ahem...
I want that bass
2. Good for metal. Could also be the worlds biggest scratchpad for cats
3. Looks like an ice lolly
4. Must be a pretty intimidating crowd, to do a fist set list
5. Will the junkyard dogs ,be covering reign in blood in the future? Is jack going metal ?!
6.
It's all good, but do be aware that few open mic sessions will be keen to grind to a halt for 20 minutes while you set up your toys! The ideal jammer walks on stage as soon as his name is called, his bass already tuned, plugs the lead into his bass and starts playing. I've seen any number of guitarists infuriate the entire room by spending ages kneeling down, plugging and re-plugging various pedals, looking for power supplies, asking if the PA has a parallel output busbar with its own aux and slider, and does anyone have a spare patch cable? Damn! Forgot to bring the tuner.
I'd imagine they'd be chucking their toys out of the jam
7. Saw Saxon marquee, pre wheels. Biff nicked my bike jacket. Saw them at the Lyceum ( wheels). How I laughed when the eagle fell on the drummer , and blindfolded guitarist hit himself in face with guitar. Ouch gave up on them after the strong arm tour
8.
Saxon were old even when they were young! Biff must be older than Lemmy?
Yeah, I would say so , wheels of steel , or meals on wheels ?
9. Actually bottle I never thought about it the whole way through. Cheers .I have a couple of effects , but not sure how t get b- e - a- d
10. Do I win it as well?
11. Doesn't have to be online if you're desperate . Depending on what part of London you're based . Denmark St / Charing x road definitely . Kingston - definitely . Busyish at work now, so I'll let someone else try;)
12. Maybe richer sounds may do them. Where are you based ?
13. Should be an easy find . Maplins ? Thomman? Loads of electrical places do them
14. I suppose the main question is ; are you definitely keep this bass? If so,then the mods won't matter. For resale purpose , you may not get as much as the time / money invested etc. Then again, you probably know that Over to other basschatters
15. I was gonna start a similar thread, but beaten to it Lemmy is the man . But 3 gigs halted/ cancelled within a week must tell him and us something . Obviously , we want him to be here forever . On the practical side ;I think he should take a break for a year or so ( if possible ). Then do a few farewell shows in the UK Europe and the states . Not a tour as such , as tbh I don't think he could do it anymore . Wishing him well..
16.
It really does suit him, you know.
Very Dave mustaine
17. Jack going metal ? ? Thunderbird , greasy bitch ? Gotta go for a dean to complete the metal collection . I'm just trying to think of the bass John McCoy used back in the day
18. Brilliant job there Rich . Didn't take long either .
19. I've got one of these. Bought it when it came out in the '90s . Manual was complicated at the time . Pricey back then. The expression pedal is essential to get the best from it . Great synth and underwater sounds . Have a bump
