If there’s a switch fitted there might be some routing underneath the pickguard, I’d want to see more photos, I don’t know the neck maker myself but maybe someone here does

Definitely no switches on a 72 and the tort doesn’t look right to me , the thing is I’ve had a few 70s fenders that were made up from parts and they played great, an original 72 would be double that price, I suppose it depends what your looking for, are you close enough to check it out

Quite a few modifications by the look of it, maybe only the body and neckplate are original, maybe the bridge, pickguard isn’t original, and the neck is quite out of line if you look at the strings, I think I’d give that one a miss myself 🙂

I’ve seen all his videos, amazing player and I love that P bass

I don’t view the wanted section often, only the for sale section 😁, but I do put wanted ads out and I’ve had good success, it would be handy to be able to bump it, but it’s no problem just doing another ad now and again

Quite surprised at around £35 for a mini pickguard, niche I suppose, if anyone has a black one let me know

So my mini precision arrived yesterday and I have to say it’s a great little thing, it sounds exactly as a P should, I don’t think the pickups need changing, I’ll probably order another pickguard as I’m not keen on the white one on a black bass, and I need to source some flats for it as rounds aren’t my thing , I’ll have a look through my string box
