  1. How much are we estimating on this one, I’m guessing the provenance will raise it a fair bit
  2. That’s really nice , I normally go for sunburst or white but that’s faded to a great colour
  3. Welcome back HP
  4. My guess would be it been exposed to moisture too, you’d need to check that the truss rod is ok and working, it might be ok , also check the fretboard closely and the join/glue to the neck
  5. Hi, sorry if you have already done this but have you adjusted the pickups up with a few turns on the screws,
  6. I’ve quite enjoyed going through Bruno’s videos, such a good player and a real mixture of basslines
  7. Such a great bassline I just have to play this every now and again , Martin Campbell
  8. I had a new Sandberg which was set up really nice on arrival from the factory , I lowered the action to really low for my preference but I did find the bridge difficult to adjust at first as I’m used to fender bridges, but as above I read the manual and it was ok , the neck was dead straight too
  9. Welcome bg
  10. Very nice, the A necks wasn’t standard ,and as far as I know were specifically ordered, not so many of them around , I missed out on a nice one a few years back
  11. Was just going to suggest that, it’s always worked for me
  12. Talking about blocks on a P bass, I really like this custom shop listed about an hour ago , looks cool https://reverb.com/uk/item/78206578-fender-p-bass-1969-closet-classic-aged-olypmic-white-occasion
  13. Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s something that can happen to anyone and it’s good to know, I’ve spent literally thousands here with no problems but you never know
  14. I don’t mind the 60s ones but the 41 just feels so good to me, it’s one of the reasons I haven’t bought an earlier one yet
  15. B is 40/41 and C is 44 pete
  16. C necks until 67 68 then B necks, but I have seen a 67 B, pretty rare though
  17. Don’t think there is, I looked before, I normally give it a few weeks and then post another
  18. Since my dipping into learning Motown for something different ,I tried quite a few of his basslines ,and it made me realise just how amazingly good he was
  19. Mine never changes whenever the question comes up, except I’ve added Sean Hurley, not so much for the music but the way he plays is so good Robbie Shakespeare Flabba Holt Aston Barrett val Douglas Fully Fullwood Sean Hurley
  20. Will has got what looks like a nice 71 P in at the moment, (nothing to do with me) shame it doesn’t have the original case https://bassbros.co.uk/product/1971-fender-precision-bass/
  21. Nice one from Johnny Osborne , ringcraft, Flabba sounding good at 6.40
  22. I’ve successfully shimmed my basses before because I play with a really low action, I do the same as Acebassmusic, a strip of business card should be well enough, it’s surprising what difference it makes, I’d try that first squire5
  23. This is a good site I use for information http://www.guitarhq.com/fender.html#serial
