  1. Maybe ask in the Repairs and Technical section, I don’t know anything about electronics myself
  2. Listening again I think I prefer the Wayne wade one
  3. It was taken from one of Linval Thompson productions, Wayne Wades African Monica, not sure if Freddie McGregor did it too, it sounds like his style
  4. Was listening to the Anthony Johnson album Reggae Feelings today, its good rough dancehall style with Flabba on bass and the Roots Radics , my best track
  5. I was quite surprised how expensive the Gibsons were, the ripper was over £400 , I’ll show a pic later
  6. Your spot on ez ,
  7. I’ve got the Bell catalog from 77 , here’s the fender page
  8. Great one, thanks t-h, I also forgot how good Blackheart man album is today
  9. I think it’s only visible to supporting members

  12. Would that have been the price for a new one back then
  13. Going through some Bunny Wailer today, this hits the spot
  14. For anyone wondering about these, they are really great, I wouldn’t be without mine
  15. A cheap fender style bass sounds nothing like a 63 precision, or any vintage basses I’ve got or had, just my opinion
  16. Very cool, love it, I was watching one on eBay a while back, I like the maple and black blocks
  17. I’d be looking at a MIM fender, for that budget you will get a nice one, I’ve had so many and maybe I’ve been lucky but they were all good, and they are easily upgraded if there’s anything you wanted to , the classic 70s jazz is very nice and they do come up occasionally , I sold mine for around £500
  18. Really lovely setup there, congrats
  19. Good find there Belka
  20. I think I went there years back, was the shop in Victoria road near the station
  21. One thing that stood out a bit for me was how new the neck stamp looked and the shape of the 7, I’m not saying it’s not genuine but there’s no fading at all there, maybe it’s the picture
  22. Great choice miles, and a very happy birthday to you 🎂👍
  23. I do exactly the same with a few of my basses 😁, the last thing I need is another precision but they do look like a nice instrument
