  1. I like the muted sound and I think I’ve got just about every mute you can buy, I’ve got a thread on them somewhere, but imo the foam does a great job especially on precisions with flats
  2. Same here, very trustworthy
  3. Haven’t had any Gregory Isaacs for a while, so a nice easy listening one
  4. Welcome Mustang
  5. Welcome Fields
  6. Great one, love it thanks
  7. I nearly bought one of those a long time back, I don’t think they made that many, really nice
  8. Playing for change around the world
  9. I’m just looking forward to seeing the bright yellow P bass with a green pearl pickguard that fits weird.., sounds nice 😬😁
  10. Best introduction I’ve seen in a long while 😁
  11. With the degrees stamped on them they should be tapered, I’d say that’s their fault for sending spacers instead, let them know and hopefully they sort it for you
  12. I saw that yesterday, big lack of information , logo doesn’t look right to me ,shouldn’t it be the spaghetti ?, or the serial number which I thought went up to 99999 then the L series in 63, not clay fingerboard dots , non original pickguard and black in colour, it’s an odd one for 10k
  13. Welcome EB
  14. I don’t think the V reissues work , they are normally dated by the neck and neck pocket dates
  15. That one looks like an American Vintage 1957 P-Bass reissue to me, the V indicates a vintage/ modern reissue
  16. Sorry for your loss Kirstie, that’s quite a collection to inherit , you should find any information you need here about any of your basses , good luck just to add, if you was to become a supporting member you would be able to post in the, Wotzit werth?!!, thread
  17. Yeah, well spotted, from what I understand it’s a rework with Bullwackie on the microphone
  18. Welcome Nick
  19. Thanks for highlighting this, I’m on the fretboard and occasionally have adverts out for basses, I’ll keep an eye out
  20. Yeah, it’s not something I normally watch , someone told me about it, I haven’t seen the jukebox one but the episode where they did Tony Wilson’s jazz bass of Hot Chocolate made me cringe a bit
  21. So cool, I really like these
  22. Some of you might find this episode of the repair shop interesting, I don’t think they really knew who they had there, it’s Neil Fraser , the mad professor who worked with just about everyone in the reggae and dub industry from the early days , especially lee Perry The Repair Shop 2023 episode 12 https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8qxq90
  23. Clinton fearon this morning
