  1. I wouldn’t say I crave it but I’ve always liked the look of the Ida Nielsen signature, I don’t like gold hardware but it looks cool , I’m guessing I’d play it for a while then it would sit in the rack
  2. How about some Tony Tuff from around 1980 and a track I can’t get enough of lately from the album Hi Yo by Keith Foundation, a great Bassline to play by Robbie Shakespeare
  3. When you say ,This bridge is fixed into drilled holes. It ain't moving, do you mean it’s recessed or something or the screws are just really tight, do you have a pic stew
  4. Hi bobby, I normally just call them on 01621 857853 uk , they don’t come on here much these days ,but you could try and send a private message to the tag Spondon has given above and it will go to their email, good luck
  5. Have you tried different strings stew, I had this once and it was ok with another set
  6. Great amp for the money, GLWYS
  7. How much are we estimating on this one, I’m guessing the provenance will raise it a fair bit
  8. That’s really nice , I normally go for sunburst or white but that’s faded to a great colour
  9. Welcome back HP
  10. My guess would be it been exposed to moisture too, you’d need to check that the truss rod is ok and working, it might be ok , also check the fretboard closely and the join/glue to the neck
  11. Hi, sorry if you have already done this but have you adjusted the pickups up with a few turns on the screws,
  12. I’ve quite enjoyed going through Bruno’s videos, such a good player and a real mixture of basslines
  13. Such a great bassline I just have to play this every now and again , Martin Campbell
  14. I had a new Sandberg which was set up really nice on arrival from the factory , I lowered the action to really low for my preference but I did find the bridge difficult to adjust at first as I’m used to fender bridges, but as above I read the manual and it was ok , the neck was dead straight too
  15. Welcome bg
  16. Very nice, the A necks wasn’t standard ,and as far as I know were specifically ordered, not so many of them around , I missed out on a nice one a few years back
  17. Was just going to suggest that, it’s always worked for me
  18. Talking about blocks on a P bass, I really like this custom shop listed about an hour ago , looks cool https://reverb.com/uk/item/78206578-fender-p-bass-1969-closet-classic-aged-olypmic-white-occasion
  19. Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s something that can happen to anyone and it’s good to know, I’ve spent literally thousands here with no problems but you never know
  20. I don’t mind the 60s ones but the 41 just feels so good to me, it’s one of the reasons I haven’t bought an earlier one yet
  21. B is 40/41 and C is 44 pete
  22. C necks until 67 68 then B necks, but I have seen a 67 B, pretty rare though
  23. Don’t think there is, I looked before, I normally give it a few weeks and then post another
