    Agreed - the truss rod doesn't have any influence on twist. The BC Rich pictured above has a manufacturing fault meaning the neck woods are off-centre.

    The odd thing about Jim bob's bass is that the twist is the opposite direction to how they normally go. I have seen a few twisters in my time and they have all gone the other way.

    I estimate that my bass collection is approximately 93% recyclable as it is - I don't think I will be rushing out and changing them for one of these. Surely not using CITES listed woods is something every manufacturer has to do if they want to sell internationally? It's hardly a moral decision.

    I keep getting this weird problem when posting from my phone - I press reply or quote and the box pops up however there is no cursor in the text input area and no text comes up. Sometimes it works if I post just the quote and then edit but now even that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas chaps?
