1.
Now, I don't like Jazzes, I don't like Cherryburst, and I'm not even keen on blocks, but I LOVE that. Wow. Tell me it weighs a ton (my old 78 weighed 11lb 12oz) and I can relax and stop GASing...
Thanks! The different elements just work very nicely together, don't they? I have to be honest, it weighs in at 10.5 lbs which for a late 70's jazz isn't too bad, and anyway I assume some part of that 70's growl comes from the weight as well as from the PU placement.
very handsome
Cheers mate!
2. Hi guys, Have to share some pics of my latest addition, a wonderful late 70's / early 80's Fender Jazz in Cherry Burst (original finish, rather rare I think). Fell in love with the looks when I first saw it, and luckily it plays and sounds as wonderful as it looks. Cheers, Matt
3. I'd love to try that fivestring Streamer Stage I out, stunning bass.
4. Hey Oli, Mattias from the EBMM forum here. Don't have anything from your wish list, but I'll shoot you a PM just the same. Folks - Oli is a true gentleman, deal with confidence. That's a stunning 20th!
5.
I've noticed that the browser back button behaves strangely when viewing on my iPad - sometimes it's fine, but more often than not I have to press it exactly three times to get back to the previous page. Not that I'm complaining - the navigation links are there for a reason and they work just fine.
I had the same experience initially, but after the iOS 5 upgrade the forum is running smoooooth on my iPad.
6. Wonderful execution on Human Nature, had to listen to it a 2nd time with my eyes closed. He's really a great player.
7. That pearl white is one sexy Sterling! Lovely!
8.
That doesn't make much sense to me to be honest. Given the poll options the example doesn't work instead it would be: Red Party = 50 Red And Yellow Party to share the rule = 50 Yellow Party = 4 Green Party = 51 So in the above the Red Party has been voted for 100 times and only 51 + 4 are against the red party
I feel so stupid, you really lost me on that one.
9. Aaaarrrgh - silly me, it doesn't seem to work at all on the iPad at present. Oh well, I'm only 1.69 out, have made far worse deals than that. Do look forward to the iPad version though.
10. Couldn't wait for the iPad version to come out, so bought issue 1 just now. Would however expected the delivery to be more or less instant - have waited a good 10min now and the order status still says 'processing'.
11.
I'm very interested once the iPad version comes out
Me too!
12.
It seems to be out already. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Freak-Upside-Story-Family-Destiny/dp/1847443141/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321308291&sr=1-1
Thanks for the heads up - got both the hardcover and the kindle version.
13.
yes this bass is traded...hmmm hard to say I was sick for SKB design too but now I think I'm more on LG side
Same here actually, will never part with my SKB but am hoping to add a nice LG eventually.
14. I'd rather have the 'like' button than these here arrows.
15.
I'm not at home Mattias, So I can not weigh it, but I think it's a little more than 5 kg! Balance is perfect!
Thanks Dirk! Oh my, I really love the looks of this one.
16. That's truly an awesome looking Alembic! What is the weight of the beauty?
17. Fingers crossed for a full and speedy recovery. Chuck is one of the greatest musicians ever, and a wonderful person as well.
18. Victor makes the world of music a brighter and larger place, I love what he has done and is doing.
19. The bulk of my playing is with an Ampeg SVT-IIp into an EBS HD350 into either a TecAmp M212 or a TecAmp L410. The L410 is my favourite, but the M212 still sounds great and is more easy to pack. For the rare occasions when I need more power than the EBS gives me, I use an Ampeg SVT-IIp into a LabGruppen 1000, which together with the L410 is just crazy - in a good way.
20.
Works for you too eh?
Indeed it does! I've actually thought long and hard on the topic of this thead, and this GB really is something outside of the ordinary. Lovely, a big thumbs up!
21. Love the feel of my Stingray necks and have no issues at all with dead spots or stability. Still lust for a Status neck mind!! Sounds to me like a brill combo.
22. If you're willing to ship to Sweden I'll gladly take care of the seven issues you have from 2004-2007 + the Summer Slap Special issue. So, eight issues in total - perhaps that qualifies for a discount even? Have paypal and will cover all charges, or could do a bank transfer if you don't do pp. Please drop me a PM. Cheers, Mattias
