1. I'm a bit confused, did they silence you without contacting you in a thread here on BC or on their own website? Either way it's rarely a good idea to upset your customers, even if they somtimes would deserve a good bashing (hypothetically speaking, no reference to your issue at hand). I'd assume iBass will sort it out.
2. Gutted to hear this, but definitely the right move given the circumstances. And the 32" LG has me quite intrigued, for sure it will be amazing!
3. Fender Jazz -68, easy as pie.
4. Great stuff, looking forward to seeing this unfold!
5. Ok great! Yes, I see it's navy blue now, had the screen backlight very low.
6. Daft question, but can we get any of the bass logos in any polo colour? Love the white and red, and the black/yellow will be perfect in the gym!
7. Can't see them as competing for the same customers as Jens, however it's seriously uncool anyway. Who buys them?
8. +1 on dialling back the treble - ever so slightly and the harshness is but a thing of the past.
9. Love it, thanks for posting! Duffy is great.
10.
Seems sensible to include this... it doesn't get much more white...
If you don't mind me asking, around what kind of budget would I need for one like that? Even though I've drooled over this pic before, seeing it here sparks the GAS all over again.
11.
I remember seeing this Windmill bass. My GB was originally going to have white pickups also - but I decided against it because it couldn't be guaranteed that the epoxy would match exactly the colour of the bass. I thought two different whites would potentially look a little iffy. The pickup cover/ramp of the windmill is polyestered to match the colour of the bass. I considered this also but I was concerned about the wear of the polyester with constant rubbing from the fingers - the epoxy pickups eventually go shiny but they go unnoticed compared to worn polyester! The windmill is a beautiful bass though - one which has caught my eye before.
I love how the black PU's on your GB stand out vs all the white! Actually, I've been told the Windmill's ramp is one piece of ebony that's been finished just the same as the body. Perhaps by "polyestered" you mean just that? You can see the wood showing at the bottom of the slot for the neck PU. Had this bass for a year or two and played it lots, but after a change of bands it was just too white and too fretless to be brought along to enough many gigs and I had to let it go. Miss it from time to time, but at least I know the guy who has it now.
12. Hey EBS freak, I so love that GB!! Here's a pretty sexy fretless Windmill:
13.
You make me want to keep them now.
So sorry but I really love them.
'Full botttomed'.....'and a very nice top'..... I keep thinking of a girl I once knew.
Now you got me going down memory lane as well!
14. Quick bump to say that the Fender CS 60's pickups are amazingly nice, full bottomed with great growly low mids and a very nice top. Quite a good price as well, I'm tempted even though at the moment I have nothing to put them in.
15. Looking forward to their album release, hopefully with a lot of funky original material.
16.
Nope, its like noticing an improvement in acceleration with the new ally wheels on your car. It may, or may not be there but you'd never actually notice it.
I respectfully disagree strongly with that point of view, but to each his own I guess.
17.
Thanks Matt, I saw the LPB one on pratabas (if that's the same one?), was still available in October, so fingers crossed! It looks great. Google translate was very useful! Thanks for trying for me. Brian.
My pleasure! It's probably the same one, the seller goes by the nick Night Prowler and is a long time member of PrataBas. He hasn't read my PM yet, will let you know what he says.
18. How on earth is it possible to do those lightning quick runs? I'm utterly amazed. They clearly are awesome musicians, but I'm either getting to old or have overdosed through the years (or both) for this - sadly I have to say it does not move me or touch me at all. Have nothing but the utmost respect for their skill and dedication though, hats off!
19.
Hey, do you know if that FSR is still available? Would you mind linking me up if so? I've been on the lookout for one too! Cheers
Hi mate, Just sent the man a PM on the Swedish bass forum, we'll see what he says. Would expect it to be gone, but in these times you never know! Take care, Matt
20.
We're still waiting on Apple to approve the app.. but you'll be the first to know as soon as we get the go ahead.
Sounds great, fingers crossed they get moving over at Apple then!
