it dosent have an ext output but I was going to add one .. okay so its going to be 12 ohms ,speaker in first cab 33w ,one in ext 66w ,,,,( ext speaker is 250 w ),, anyone have any idea what it will sound like ?

I have a rumble 100w v1 ,,,,I think its with a 4 ohm speaker ,,,what would the impedence be if I added an 8 ohm ext speaker in series ? would it be a bad idea ,,,,,and what sort of difference would it make . thanks for any replies in advance. Andy

thanks for all the replies ,,,,,ive now had the chance to handle a jazz ,,,,and whilst it was good ,,,,I cant see that's it adds anything to the p ,,,,,,,,maybe its because I'm not tuned in like most people are on here. don't forget I'm old probably a bit deaf from too much shooting without ear protection ,,,,maybe it was the start of gas ,,,,,but ive been through all that with cameras before so I'm not going down that route with guitars as I havnt won the lottery yet . so ill stay with the p's ( bob )/ thanks for all the replies always very useful to someone like me starting out on the ( not so long ) journey into noise ,,,,,,,hopefully it will be music at some point .......more questions to follow in another thread later thanks again. I started last year ,,bought a bass for my 56th birthday ,,,,,,i'd never touched an instrument in my life till then ,,,,,,,I go to work Monday morning and normally don't get home till Friday evening so only get to practice in the man cave weekends ,,,ive already been a guest bassist on four songs at a birthday party ,,,it was great ,,,,,go for it ,you don't have to rush out and join a band until you want to .

I had a 1 x 15 cab that was a bare box that sounded awful ,,,tacked duvet lining on the inside and put a wooden brace in ,,and it sounded so much better . sounding better is a personal opinion though .

well I ve only been playing the bass for a very short time ,,,( and yes I do use the word playing very loosely ) but for my one and only show to date ,,I had a spare bass and amp in the car . if something had not worked I would have felt like I had let the others in the band down even though it was a one off for us ..ive photographed a few weddings over the years for friends and family ,,and it just wouldn't occur to me to turn up with only one camera body and lens ,,,,as said by someone else earlier ,,,,,,sods law ,,or is it murphy's???
