I think Carlsbro Sound had become a carpet store last time I drove past.
-
Actually, that was my next question... What does "Classic Vibe" mean? They're not labelled as such (neither VM or CV), are they? I think these days it's the other way round!

Warwick have tried to shift the RockBass brand upmarket from time to time; maybe this was one of those attempts.
-
I keep seeing mention of "Vintage Modified" Fenders & Squiers - they don't say it on them, so what does it mean?
-
The older ones had the Fender-a-like headstocks, whereas at some point they became more blade-like.

I've got a Levinson Blade Strat and it is one of the best put together instruments I've seen; the neck pocket tolerance must be precise. And mine's a Japanese "Texas" - not even top of the range. I got it with the blade-style headstock, but I swapped the neck with the Fender-style one I'd picked up from a shop some time back.

Well - that is a thing...

At https://line6.com/hx-stomp/ Line6 say: and So, you could be forgiven for taking exception to there being significant discrepancies in the sound...

Their Ric fakers are well-regarded, but Precisions don't command the same sort of money. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175592500429

They're tug-bars - so you can hold there whilst playing with your thumb.

Not that great - at £16 it looks overpriced!

The way the drop-D eXtender works is it turns the tuning peg a fraction to detune it to the note you want, typically D. It does exactly the same as you would do if you grabbed the tuning key and turned it. The only difference is it has a lever to do it for you and allows you to set the turn precisely via a thumscrew to set the stop-point of the rotation. This pic shows two of them and you can see that the levers are pulled and the tuning key has dropped backwards maybe 1/16 of a turn as the whole tuner chassis has rotated. Looking behind, the way it works is that the whole original tuner is a floating assemble which pivots around the tuning peg and sits on top of a backplate which is fixed to the headstock. Pulling the lever allows it to rotate the requisite amount. It's great if you want to easily flip between the two, but if you're going to permanently play in drop-D then there's no point in having it.

Now I can see why it's called a Precision bass.
