  1. The Behringer Model D is a cheap copy of a MiniMoog and the left-right layout of the controls is very logical.
  2. Sorry - I responded to pg #1, but hadn't read the whole thread!
  3. If it's still available in a month's time, I'll have it!
  4. It might have an internal switch.
  5. Someone’s got a good bass there!
  6. Now, this is a Tele bass! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115703476396
  7. I think Carlsbro Sound had become a carpet store last time I drove past.
  8. Actually, that was my next question... What does "Classic Vibe" mean? They're not labelled as such (neither VM or CV), are they? I think these days it's the other way round!
  9. Warwick have tried to shift the RockBass brand upmarket from time to time; maybe this was one of those attempts.
  10. I keep seeing mention of "Vintage Modified" Fenders & Squiers - they don't say it on them, so what does it mean?
  11. The older ones had the Fender-a-like headstocks, whereas at some point they became more blade-like.
  12. I've got a Levinson Blade Strat and it is one of the best put together instruments I've seen; the neck pocket tolerance must be precise. And mine's a Japanese "Texas" - not even top of the range. I got it with the blade-style headstock, but I swapped the neck with the Fender-style one I'd picked up from a shop some time back.
  13. Well - that is a thing...
  14. Che Guevara adds to the subtlety.
  15. The last one I had, I bought a bass to put on it… …then I decided to put a Fender Hi-Mass on it, so I’ve still got a spare Badass.
  16. At https://line6.com/hx-stomp/ Line6 say: and So, you could be forgiven for taking exception to there being significant discrepancies in the sound...
  17. More dum-dum than bullet!
  18. Yep - another "cheeky decal" finds its way into the wild...
  19. it was a 50s/60s thing. They both serve no purpose for me!
  20. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285134826066
  21. Their Ric fakers are well-regarded, but Precisions don't command the same sort of money. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175592500429
  22. Red flags for me include: "if you're looking you'll know what this is", "pm me for a price", and "PayPal F&F".
  23. They're tug-bars - so you can hold there whilst playing with your thumb.
  24. It's great to see one with the headstock intact! Someone's been trying to sell one in the UK with a broken headstock for ages, asking £1900 - https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1593982981029030/ This is way better!!!
  25. Not that great - at £16 it looks overpriced!
