As a result of, shall we say, a frank exchange of views with HM Inland Revenue (actually, it was pretty one sided), I have been advised in no uncertain terms that I need to liquefy some of my assets...... So, it is with a tear in my eye that I have to announce that my ACG Finn fretless is up for grabs. Purchased only a month ago from Bobpalt. I've the intonation set [u]on[/u] the side dots of the unlined boards of my fretlessessess - just seemed the logical way to go. FWIW I used to find fretless basses with lined boards really difficult to play as I found the lines distracting. I had a Squier VM Fretless Jazz and ended up 'colouring in' the lines with a marker pen....

Ahhh, Nick Beggs. Happy memories as 14 year olds with Nick on drums, John on g**tar and me on my no-name bass. Nick picked my bass one day, had a plonk on it and that was it! Fate had done it's stuff! Nice guy!

Oky Dokey......! Up for grabs is my VT1 EQ Bass Drive. Purchased from Mr Hall last year to transform the tone of the solid state practice amp I use at home. A vast tonal palate to choose from etc etc. Of course, it has that oh so tasteful 'Abattoir' paint finish... Mmmmm, Yummy! New it would cost you £149 with the power supply (if you buy online) - you can have this one for £120 posted. Cheers Grahame
