1. Hi - Ive recently started using a EB2 for gigging with (love it). Need to put some new strings on soon and was after some advice as to what to get. Would like to achieve the cleanest sound I can (if thats possible). I'm a bit ignorant as to the difference between round-wound and flat-wound etc. Not sure what they were fitted with as OE so would really value any advice anyone has who has experience of playing one. Thanks in andvance!

 3. Thanks for the info. If anyone has one for sale please let me know. Just fancy trying one.
 4. Hi - I am fancying an Epiphone Rivoli and wondered what other people's views and experineces are of them. Also any advice that you can offer. Thanks!
 5.
Yeh, I saw that and clocked it - seeing as I'm selling something pretty similar at the moment. I couldn't help wondering if it's as insanely light as mine.
I have one of these! Was my Dads - think he bought it new in about '76 or '77.
 6. Hi - I've lost a caster off my Aguilar GS212 and wondered if anyone could advise best place to get a set from? Don't ask how! Think it was was high speed packing last week! Ta.
 7.
hmmm... just imagining it with that 2x15 cab !! ....
Its a cool sound. Very warm and as big as you want. Always gets attention on gigs - more so than all the guitarists gear. Wah wah wah!
 8.
Have another free Bump on another Bassman fan Great great great amp that will brighten anyone's day to play through it. So what if it's heavy, we're all bass players here, so we'll be down the chyropractors before 45 yrs old anyway. Good luck with the sale................and yes, you are of course completely mad to sell this beauty, but you know that already and what's it got to do with me anyway. No doubt you must have a very good and hopefully musically exciting reason to sell it.
I've got one too... Actually it was my dad's. He bough a new blonde/blackface (that sounds wrong!) amp and cab in '65 and upgraded to a new fangled black one in the 70's with 2x15 cab. Got me into shape moving it for him when I was kid! After he died I started using it and it will stay with me forever. Good luck with the sale!
 9.
Now that is a good question. Obviously it was only a lunchtime noodle, so my impressions may go up as well as down, but thinking about it more now I guess it was more that the gain settings were different, which made one channel louder than t'other although I was using the same bass. I believe the channels are identical apart from Channel A having the Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator circuit as well; maybe that's the difference?! I shall investigate further...
If you check out an old thread of mine, I did a bit of messing on this topic. The channels are different to the point that I swwapped my lm11 for the lmk.
 10.
Hey, any interest in a MIM Jazz body? It's some type of metallic green, very good condition (found one small dent and nothing through to the wood) and is lovely and heavy (makes my stingray feel floaty...) It's from a bass i may disassemble rather than repair if it makes economic sense (i snapped the truss rod..) any offers or guides to what it may be worth? don't make me ebay it..... cheers, rich
I've got a neck I want to use so stick a price on it.
