3. Fantastic playing! Really enjoyed it. Nice work :-)
4. I do think 1 spare is really useful. But for me the benifits of using one bass out way having a selection.
5. I'm down to my sadowsky modern 5 string and an upright. I love the consistant sound from the sadowsky and think I could do 95% of gigs using this bass. However there will always be times I could do with a spare when mine in for a set up etc, but I'm not in a rush to buy anything else.
6. Great bass! Good choice!
7. Have u checked the internal side of the front with a mirror to check if there's any grain. Should clear up any doubt about the top.

14. I've got someone who's really interested and has asked me to hold it for a couple of days.
15.
How so? I like the Honeys I use but they are getting dark now after 3 years. Are the Spiro's weichs really bright and twangy or do they mello? Spiros are supposed to be the best for pizz, which all I really do, but I don't want a bright, zinggy tone.
they do mellow out and are about the only string I know that actually improves with playing. However they are a bright string at first. Perhaps give the evahs a try. I've not tried the honeys so can't compare.
16. Best ever 1x15 cab. If I wasn't so poor I be all over this :-) Great price too!
17. Just weighed it at 8.14lb. It's not a heavy instrument and is easy to play. Cheers geoff
18. I've just taken some more pics. If anyone is interested please PM me your email address. I've also been asked about the body wood. I think it's maple on ash. However I'm not sure.
19. Great looking bass!
20. Great work Johnny! I enjoyed your site too. Cheers Geoff
21.
thanks man. using a Schertler DYN-B pickup, Evah Pirazzi E and A, Oliv D and G. its hard on gigs when your sound is dependant on a FOH guy, but this chap did a decent job.
yeh I know what u mean about sound men, but that's great. I Like the singer/tune too.
