Hi Guys Mike at Iceni is still building cab's under the Zoot banner...... but wait till you see what he's got coming.....

My band have just got a sponsorship deal with a K-Array [url="http://www.k-array.com/?page=Red_line"]KR200 system[/url], not cheap but extremely compact and loud as hell!!!!!

I had a bash on this at Frankfurt...... It was silly loud! good tone also..... I want two so I can run them stereo...... Just need to buy a transit now

Wilko's ones are great.... only 4 0r 5 quid.... definitely buy them and use them on your amps/mixers and pa..... I learnt the hard way from a festival a few years ago when the power went down and fried my metro combo.... £80 worth of damage....

Fender aren't apparently....

the umpteenth high class wedding function..... an hour before the gig..... guitarist managed to slam the boot of my Audi shut on his fingers (pick hand) several black finger nails later and several pint glasses of ice.... he is still trying to play guitar.... I've never seen an 19 stone welsh guy cry before..... and all this for playing a Bryan Adams 'fist dance' number... anyway good night..... more gigs from it and a decent gash of MILF!!!! More reports coming....

I would like to 'like' Ashdown.... (Ex Trace and all that) but every experience I have had with one of their amps or cabinets has been a bad one so far..... and that's more experiences I can count on one hand.... draw your own conclusion is the best way

Dave[/quote] No your right..... not in a pub or club..... the band I play in only do Weddings and corporate gigs... you'd never get this sorta money from a venue.... I think the most I ever earned from a venue was about £500 for the whole band.... Interesting conversation I was having the the drummer from the band... he's fully pro... he was telling me how much the going rate for some tour work was.... I mean big tours such as Kylie... It's not much for the muso's... I'm happy with the weddings thankyou very much!!

I actually got a kiss off Shirley on my Birthday.... It was at the Videocafe... if anyone remembers that place...

I saw wham before they 'Made it big' at the 100 club..... absolutely fantastic.... DE on bass.... full brass section and girly backing vox.... loads of soul and funk music... DE bass playing is superb...

Can anyone one recommend some strings please.....
