2.
The Compact is a 32lb 2x12"/3x10" competitor whilst the Big One is a 47lb 6x10"/4x12"/2x15" killer. Prices are £400 and £625 respectively, plus P&P. Lots more models in the pipeline, first up being a double-sized Compact with an old school appearance - the Vintage - one of which is going out to its owner next month. Later a mini version of the Big One - the Big Baby - and a smaller angrier version of the Compact - the Midget. And then some PA cabs... Alex
Alex Do you mean these cabs are competitive in Volume or Tone? Also what is your take on PA boxes going to be? Jay
 3. you can get systems like that but they are generally sh*te..... 1 transmitter per receiver....

 5.
I'd creep up on it from behind
6. Not too close..... if it pops..... don't say I didn't warn you....
 7. It's ok.... but I probably use it two or three times during a 3 hour gig..... could do more with it if I thought about it I suppose.... have been using it more when holding Chords down and then bending different strings to create new chords which is quite nice....
 8.
Hi all! After a good compressor, currently using the boss me50b, not too sure if it's really up to standards on sound........ Basically I do ALOT of tapping, band n solo stuff. Any recommendations? Cheers!
Depends on your budget.... if you are after a pro compressor then the DBX 162SL is fantastic and unbelievably transparent.
 9. The GA2 kit should do it... though you cannot front mount the antenna's obviously as they are fixed on the freeport system. Give Ian a shout at Mercury AV - 0845 9000 805. He's a good dealer and will have a better idea than me on what other rackmounts are available. Jay
 10.
Gig report please! Whens the next one there, Jay? Be good to get it into the diary. OT: OP Got a link?
Not sure on the next one..... hopefully around end of August if we get time......

 12. One of the best sounding cab's I've had was a 4 x 12 Tech Sound Systems cab...... I loved it!!!!!
 13.
Help, I wanna mount my FreePort receiver. It is the EM1-M model so is like a sealed box with no pre-drilled connection points however has 4 nuts built in to the bottom. I am assuming that this is to allow me to screw through and mount from below. Problem is the required Bolts are a peculier size, can't seem to get em. I have tried Sennheiser to no avail. Anyone else done this? OR ideas for where I might get suitable bolts? (I actually live really close to a place called "Bolt and Nut Supplies" guess what? "Sorry mate, non standard sizes, can't help ya!!!!" - DOH) Andy
Hi Andy We don't do a dedicated mount for freeport as it's a 'sit on' only unit. I believe there are rack mounts available from other places such as Adam Hall, CPC, Maplins....
 14. Rich I meant to ask you if any of those photo's came out at the gig in Nailsea?? If so any chance you could let me have some cheers
 15. Easy!
 16. Official statement reveals unreasonable council demands Homecoming ’09, Scotland's music festival, due to be held at Irvine Bay, Ayrehire, has been cancelled. In an official announcement, the organisers have blamed what would seem to be excessive council demands for the termination of the festival. The statement read: “It is with great regret that organisers of the Homecoming festival have announced that this year’s event has been cancelled. “This is due to new demands from the council requesting 50 per cent of the profits and a £60,000 bond on the land. “All ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund, and arrangements are currently being made to organise new venues and dates for some of the artists that were scheduled to perform at Homecoming ‘09. “More details will be revealed as soon as possible.” Homecoming is the second 2009 festival to be affected by local authority ruling. Earlier this year, the Glade electronic music festival was forced to relocate due to inflexible noise restrictions enforced by Berkshire County Council. Happily, the organisers of the festival have now secured the Matterly Bowl near Winchester, Hampshire, to host the event. Nick Ladd, Glade's creative director said: "We can now run it later on all nights, including Sunday, and make some proper noise."

 21.
WTF Why would they do that? I don't know these guys, but they obviously inhabit a different world to me. It's when I'm on the road that I tend to do my bulking up Steve
Makes sense seeing as you don't really eat regularly.... or at least my experience was that..... Drink regularly yes....
